Albus messed up. Big time. Out of everything he ever did this was probably the worst by far.

You see Albus had somehow convinced Rose and Scorpius to go to The Crystal Cave with him. With his parents permission of course. He also may just told them they were going to explore a cave, conveniently leaving  out the fact that they were going to the infamous Horcrux Cave. Rose and Scorpius had both been skeptical but eventually agreed with some persuasion of course.

Now he was in his father's office being interrogated by a team of Aurors. Not because of where they went but because of what they had found. When they were in the boat exploring the cave they had found something interesting. Five bodies to be exact. Well four and a baby. The cave's waters seemed to have preserved them. Meaning they were alive. They were currently at St. Mungo's in a medically induced coma until they were strong enough to be awoken.

Albus was snapped out of his thoughts by an Auror asking "What were you three even doing there?" He said with a not-so-subtle glare. "That doesn't even matter anymore!" His brother James said with a full on death glare. "Instead of questioning them you should be trying to identify the bodies" he said. "We already did, not that it's any of your business" another  Auror replied with a smug smirk  That seemed to annoy James even more. His brother wasn't all that nice when he was pissed off. He may look like their father but he inherited their mother's temper.  "I'm sure their parents won't like the idea of you pressuring them  for answers." He said with a raised eyebrow.

The Aurors huffed and left, leaving the four teens alone. "You didn't need to do that, you know." Rose said finally breaking the silence. "Yeah we can handle ourselves just fine." Albus said. It wasn't that he wasn't grateful for him, it's just that he hates when James saves the day. It reminds him that he is the perfect Potter. He lives up to the name. And Albus is just the other brother, the Slytherin brother. That's how he was known even though he was the splitting image of his father, he'll always be known as the Slytherin Potter. It'll never change.

"I never said you couldn't, they were just being incredibly rude. Interrogating you guys like you were criminals." He huffed. Albus smiled at that. It was amusing when James got so defensive. "Anyway since we're practically done here I think we should go to St Mungo's. Mum and Dad are already there and I really wanna know who you guys found." He said.

"Sure. Anything to get away from here." Scorpius finally spoke. James nodded and held out his hand for Ablus to take. He took his left hand and grabbed Scorpius with the other and Rose took James' other hand. In a flash they were gone.

When they reappeared they were surrounded by the white walls of the hospital. Albus felt a little light headed, he wasn't used to apparating. Either that or he just didn't like it. Thankfully Scorpius caught him before he could fall. His hands lingered on Albus' waist a little too long but neither bothered to say anything.

The comfortable silence was broken with James words to the lady at the front desk. "Where are Mr. and Mrs. Potter?" He asked. She looked up from whatever she was doing with a scowl. He expression softened when she recognized who they were. "Room 304 just down the hall dear." She smiled almost flirtatiously. They mumbled a quick thanks and walked away.

"She's cute" he said swinging an arm around James. Rose have a disgusted look and Scorpius snickered. "She's also twice my age." James laughed. Albus chuckled "We gotta find you a girlfriend mate. Your always so tense." James flushed at what he was implying "Focus on your own love life Al" he said. "That shouldn't be too hard though." Rose smirked. "Yeah who doesn't wanna date the 'Golden Boy' at Hogwarts" Scorpius teased. James frowned. Albus knew he disliked the nickname but it was so fitting.

"Anyway let's see who we saved" Rose said once they reached the door. When they walked in they weren't prepared for what they saw.
