They were gonna do something dumb. Something dumb and dangerous and Albus would most likely regret it later on.
To put it lightly, tonight was the full moon.
Tonight was the night he, Scorpius and Rose were gonna get the moonflower from the Forbidden Forest. Everything was set. Rose had spent almost the entire weekend teaching him and Scorpius how to produce a Patronus incase they were gonna run into a few Dementors.
It was around dinnertime and instead of eating in the Great Hall with the rest of the students, the trio were hiding out in the Room of Requirements waiting for the perfect moment to sneak out.
Their plan was flawless, Albus created it himself. Since there wasn't any hidden passages leading to the Forbidden Forest directly, they had to sneak out the old fashion way. Rose had snagged James' invisibility cloak for the three of them to use as they walked into the forest. Scorpius was prepared with the Aconite and that was all they would need. Scorpius and Albus had also payed extreme attention to Herbology lessons and Rose had read books so that they were all prepared to take the Moonflower and go.
Now all they had to do was wait.

"This is ridiculous!" James sighed.
"It's not ridiculous, you just don't understand." Scarlet said. Scarlet had insisted on helping James with his 'atrocious' Potions Essay and the two had been there since dinner.
"We've been here for forever and I still don't get it!" he said exasperated.
"We've been here for two hours luv." Scarlet corrected.
"Still!"
"I don't know why you can't understand it," Scarlet said leaning back against one of the chairs in their common room, "Maybe we should take a break."
"Maybe you could teach me something other than Potions?" he said with a sly smile.
"Oh?" she said with a grin, "And what could I possibly teach you?" James rolled his eyes and took out the small crystal necklace Scarlet had given him on his first lesson of wandless magic.
"Do you ever take that off?" she questioned placing her figure on the crystal itself.
"No not really," he said getting a little distracted in the way she stared at the crystal. Scarlet and James spent so much time together that his attraction to her was starting to grow into more of an adoration and he often wondered if it was because of the potion.
"Can you do something for me?" he questioned.
"Sure. What is it?"
"Can you say something in Parsletoungue?"
"And why would you want me to do that?" she answered in the snake tongue and he shuddered, almost violently.
"James," she said slyly, "This language kink of yours is starting to get a little out of hand."
"I'm not the only one now am I princess." he hissed back leaning close enough that he could hear her breath hitch.
"That's not fair." she pouted and he laughed.
"It's perfectly fair." he chuckled as she rolled her eyes at him.
"We should start rounds yeah?" she said changing the subject.
"Yeah," he sighed, "I guess walking around would help clear my mind."

Teddy sat on one of the ledges of the Astronomy Tower simply admiring the stars above him. He often wondered if his parents were up there looking down on him. From the stories Harry and his grandmother told him, he imagined his mother laughing at the ridiculousness he would get up to while his father scolded at him while trying not to laugh. For some reason beyond his understanding, he also imagined Sirius would be there.
