When Scarlet woke up she realized three things.1) It was light out.
2) She was spooning James.
3) There was a blanket over them that she didn't see when they fell asleep."Oh Merlin!"
"Huh? What? What's wrong?" James sat up.
"There's a blanket."
"Ah yes they tend to be in bedrooms."
"No...did you put a blanket over us?"
"No, wait, shit."
"Exactly. C'mon let's get up. I'm going for a shower." She said trying to ignore the embarrassment of knowing that someone saw them. After she got back to the room, James went to shower. She threw on a hoodie and jeans. James did the same. They were now arguing about their sleeping positions.
"It's not that bad!"
"Being the little spoon is the worst! Having someone breathing down your neck! And practically dead weight over your body is not relaxing Scarlet! Being the big spoon, it's exquisite, its devine. Holding someone who fits perfectly in your arms is just-"
"God dammit Potter! Just say you want to top and move on! We're gonna be late for breakfast."
"WE CAN'T BE LATE FOR BREAKFAST!" James flared his arms around, "THERE'S NO DESIGNATED TIME FOR BREAKFAST!"
"Don't be ridiculous, there's always a time for breakfast." She rolled her eyes making her way out the door, down the stairs. James mumbled something under his breath that sounded a lot like 'bloody purebloods' but followed her down.
When they arrived they were met with a lot of grinning Weasleys.
"Good morning. Had an early night?" Ginny smirked. They both groaned.
"Yeah mum someone was tired." He halfheartedly glared.
"We would've been down sooner but someone was arguing about our sleeping arrangements." She glared back.
"Trouble in paradise?" Ron laughed. James rolled his eyes and sat at the table. Scarlet made her way into the kitchen to grab some morning coffee.
"Coffee dear?"
"Mhm." She filled two cups and set one in front of James taking a seat beside him. He kissed her cheek and started piling eggs on their plates. The small gesture did not go unnoticed by the older wizards.
"What was that?" Hermione asked amused.
"Bloody hell, three months and they're more married than me and Mione." Ron smirked.
"Oh um, it's the potion influence." Scarlet explained. They nodded, Ginny had told them about the accident.
"That's a beautiful bracelet Scarlet." Hermione said.
"Thank you, it was a gift from my Aunt Cissy. It's a memory capsule. Memories are stored in the charms." She explained. That bracelet was probably her most valued possession.
"Memories? What memories are stored?" Harry asked.
"Well this one here," she said pointing to a yellow charm, "are some of Aunt Cissy's memories. And this one," she pointed at a purple charm, " Are some of my dad's. The green is some of Draco's memories."
"And the rest?" Ginny asked.
"They're empty. Aunt Cissy showed me a spell to add them to the charm. Pretty sure this visit will be there." She grinned, receiving a small smile from everyone. Before she could say anything else, a very ugly cat hopped onto the table knocking nearly everything down.
