"You three seem a little young to be buying Aconite off the black market. How old are you?" the tall, dark and mysterious man asked.
"I didn't realize questions were on the agenda tonight." Scorpius raised a no longer blond eyebrow.
"Hey do you want your money or not?" Rose asked impatiently.
"Look kid, I just don't want or need the Aurors on my back." the man replied.
"And we don't need them knowing what we plan on using this for so why don't we just get this over with." Albus rolled his eyes. The way this bloke was acting you would've thought he was the teenager who snuck out of school to do an illegal exchange.
"Alright here," the man said handing Scorpius a small purple pouch, inside was a plastic bag filled with purple powder, "Don't have a dog do ya?" he asked.
"No, why?" Rose asked handing the man their combined galleons to cover the price.
"While it is manly used against werewolves, it has a devastating effect on any canine, knocks 'em out cold if they inhale too much. Can possibly kill 'em too if they consume it." he explained shoving the bag of galleons into the pocket of his robes, "Good luck with whatever you're gonna do with that." he nodded to them and stalked off.
"And just like that, we're all set." Scorpius said placing the Aconite into his back pack.
"You guys wanna stay a while?" Rose asked, "It is a festival after all."
"I mean yeah we could, but when does the glamour wear off?" Albus asked.
"Should in about a few minutes if I remember correctly." Scorpius said.
"Okay let's head into the loo and wait it out." Rose said and the three of them made their way away from the crowd.
"Do I go into the boy's or girl's?" Albus asked aloud.
"You're a girl turing into a boy, go in the boy's." Scorpius said.
"Aw you're trans? Hunny that's wonderful." an elderly woman smiled as she walked past them with her husband who gave him a thumbs up.
"Er- thank you?" he said feeling slightly guilty that the woman thought he was trans, she should support actual trans people rather than wizards in a glamour speaking out of context.
"I think I'd like to come back here." Scopius said.
"To Muggle London?"
"To a pride parade, it seems fun."
"Carter says there's one in September, we could come back with the whole group." Albus grinned at his best friend.
"Sounds perfect." The once again blond smiled.
"By any chance you're queer?" Albus cocked his head to the side. Straight allies was completely fine but Scorpius never showed any interest in girls so Albus really couldn't help but wonder.
"I think so, I feel like I'm demisexual." he said not quite meeting Albus' eyes.
"I think I need an explanation, I'm kinda slow."
"Kinda?" Scorpius grinned.
"Oh shut up." he huffed playfully.
"It means I only like someone after an emotional bond is formed." he said.
"Oh." Albus said looking in the mirror, his appearance was back to normal. "Um, do you like anyone right now?" he asked quietly. Albus should be happy for Scorpius- and he was, but part of him didn't really hated the idea of Scorpius liking anyone. It was selfish really, how could he want to deprive Scorpius of well deserved happiness? Perhaps he just did not want to share him?
