Unfortunately for her, the school year had ended and Scarlet now once again sat in a train compartment with James, Teddy and Victoire. Teddy would be heading over to his grandmother Andromeda and Victoire would leave with her dad. For some reason Molly had requested that Scarlet and Scorpius come early to the burrow so they would have more time to settle in."Merlin, you look like hell." Teddy laughed.
"She's nervous you git!" Victoire turned to her, "Don't worry, they'll love you."
"But what if they don't? What if they hate me?"
"They won't." James said.
"But what if they do." She pouted.
"Scar relax." He said sternly resting a hand on her leg. It had become normal for them to share small touches now. It was comforting in a way. She tried calming her nerves and stared out the window. Maybe everything would be alright.
After the train had arrived at the station Scarlet and James said goodbye to Teddy and Victoire. They joined Albus,Scorpius and Lily and Scarlet nervously walked to the Potter-Weasley clan. Rose and her brother Hugo followed them.
"Finally!" Ginny Potter cheered. She surprisingly pulled both Scarlet and Scorpius into a hug first which they both accepted. Scarlet loved hugs from anyone really. Especially the ones her Aunt Cissy gave. When they broke away, they were once again tackled in a hug by Molly Weasley.
"I'm so happy you both decided to join us!" She beamed.
"You guys didn't really give her a choice." James mused.
"The amount of teasing she got because of those howlers." Lily giggled.
"Was it really that bad?" Hermione asked.
"Minnie kept joking that I was staying at the 'in laws'." Scarlet explained.
"Oh dear."
"It didn't help that Dad and Uncle Ron were yelling in the background." Albus smirked.
"We regret nothing." Ron and Harry said together.
"Of course you don't, that's the Gryffindor pride for ya." Scarlet smirked.
"Bloody hell! She's a mini Malfoy!" Ron looked shocked and horrified.
"Oh Ronald." Hermione shook her head disapprovingly.
"Thought I was mini Malfoy. " Scorpius smirked.
"You are. Don't worry." Rose laughed.
"But she looks like Sirius." Harry noted.
"It's almost as if she were his daughter." Ginny said. Everyone had to stifle their laughs.
"Alright, enough bickering. Let's get back home! We have to let them settle in." Mrs. Weasley said.
A few minutes later
Scarlet stood in the living room of the famous burrow.
"Alright listen up," Mrs.Weasley said, "Rose and Lily will be rooming together, Scorpius and Albus as well. Hugo will share with Fred once he gets her. Scarlet and James will stay in a room together." The young teens looked surprised at that.
"I trust nothing will happen between you two in there." Ginny raised an eyebrow. Scarlet felt her cheeks flush and James groaned into his hand.
"Merlin, someone kill me. Just do it." He mumbled. Albus and Scorpius snickered.
