James Potter and the Prisoners of Time

Chapter 8

James was laughing his arse off.

Teddy was explaining the traumatic experience he and Scarlet went through and this bastard thought it was funny.

"STOP LAUGHING YOU PRICK IT WAS TRAUMATIZING!" he yelled.

"I'm sorry! It's just, oh Merlin your face!" James replied laughing.

"Try seeing your dad like that!"

"Oh been there, done that."

"Yes well-wait what?"

"A while back Al and I walked in on mum and dad going at it. They didn't even notice we were there." He shrugged.

"Tell me you're joking."

"Oh I wish I were, after that nothing can phase me."

"There's a red room at Grimmauld Place." Teddy suggested.

"Wha- What?" He stuttered, his cheeks flushing. Teddy smirked.

"Yup, that's where they were doing it."

"Ok, that phases me." He said.

Just then Victoire walks in with Scarlet at her heels.

"YOU POOR CHILD!" She ran up and hugged Teddy. He felt his cheeks heating up and he noticed Scarlet and James exchanging a smirk.

"See THAT'S the reaction I expected!" He glared at James who shrugged it off.

"I can't believe you saw that." Victoire said.

"Would you like to see it?" Scarlet smirked holding the book in her hand.

"NO!" Victoire blushes.

"Thought so."

"How about another hug?" Teddy grinned.

"Don't push it. C'mon it's time for dinner." The four teens exited the library and headed for the great hall.

After dinner, Albus dragged Scorpius into the library. They were looking for a way to get the moonflower. Ever since Rose had told them about what she heard from the core four,  (little nickname he gave them) he had become obsessed with the idea of finding a way to get the cure.

They had been searching the library for a way to find the flower but came across nothing.

"Ugh, this is pointless!" Scorpius groaned.

"We've been searching for hours and absolutely nothing!" Albus said in frustration.

Scorpius hadn't hesitated to go to the library with him and Albus vouldnt help but grin at that. Scorpius understood that Albus wanted to prove himself to everyone. Albus wanted to prove that he was great like the rest of his family but Scorpius wanted to prove that he was nothing like his. The Malfoys were extremely kind, Albus had the pleasure of meeting Draco,Narcissa and even Lucius countless times but who they were now didn't make people forget who they used to be.

After about another hour of useless searching they finally decided to go back to the dungeons. Of course they had to be discreet so they wouldn't get caught. What Albus would've given for the invisibility cloak right about now.

When they got to the painting they recognised two Slytherin fifth years. One of them was Delphi Diggory and the other was Damien Zabini. They were both actually nice and usually kept to themselves. Most people actually thought they were dating.

"What are you guys doing here?" Scorpius asked wearily.

"Some arsehat changed the password and we can't get in." Damien explained.
