Miracle in the MM

Miracle

Biting my lip I was trying to stop myself from cursing Macai the fuck out. It took everything in me not to. He was annoying me. Finally out and he’s on the phone handling business or whatever he calls it. This was starting to get old. Every time we’re spending time together he has to stop and use his damn phone. I’m going to break that shit one of these days.

“Are you done yet?” I asked completely aggravated. He didn’t even answer he just put his hand up which is something I think is rude as hell.

He has a lot of nerve. Tired of the situation I put my Chanel sun glasses over my eyes and got up gathering my things in the process. He wants to handle business he can do that sitting right in this restaurant by himself.

I didn’t even bother to tell him I was leaving. He would get the hint when he didn’t see me standing there. Once I got out of the restaurant I looked around to see if I saw a taxi coming. This was my only hold up, he drove us here so the only way I was leaving was if I caught a cab or called somebody to come get me. My apartment isn’t that far away, so I could walk but that was not about to happen in these heels.

Not wanting to wait any longer I pulled my phone out and dialed Promise’s number.

“Promise King speaking.” She answered after the second ring.

“It’s me, I need you to come get me.”

“Come get you? I thought you were on a date.”

“I thought I was too but this nigga is clearly having an affair.”

“Affair? With who?”

“His phone, he has not put that shit down in thirty minutes. Can you come get me please?”

“Sure, where are you?”

“Spago, in Beverly Hills.”

“Wait a minute you’re leaving Spago? That’s your favorite restaurant.”

“I know that and I just ordered the Lamb and I had my Tainted Love cocktail. You know I live for that.”

“So why are you leaving?”

“I don’t like him paying more attention to his phone than me. I don’t care if we’re at Spago or not.”

“Miracle, go back in there and talk to the man. He’s probably looking for you. I’m not coming to get your stubborn self. Go eat and be merry ok. I love you.”

“Mhm love you too.” I hung up and made my way back into the restaurant. As I was walking to the table I ran into Macai.

“I was just looking for you, where did you go?” He asked.

“To be honest I was about to leave.” I sat down in my seat with him doing the same.

“Why were you about to leave?”

“You and that phone. We have barely spoke since we been here. We’re on a date and you’re on your phone the whole time.”

“It was my business my bad.”

“It’s always business Macai.”

“This is how I make my money. You’re not complaining when I’m taking you out, like right now for instance.” At that point I just raised my eyebrow.

This right here is what I don’t like about some men. Always putting the fact that they have money out there but when they spend a little bit of it they want to throw it in your face.
