"I told you she was going to end up pregnant, but no Major knows all." Macai laughed. "So what are you going to do?"

"The fuck you think? I'm not leaving her alone, especially not now. I'll be damned if I'm not apart of my child's life just because pops got a problem."

"It's more than a problem nigga. You know how he is,"

"So what should I do? Leave her alone?"

"I didn't say that, you love the girl that shit is more than obvious. You just gotta do what you gotta do for you and yours. Are y'all getting a divorce?"

"Nah, I mean I don't see the point in it now."

"So y'all serious about the marriage shit?"

"We might as well be, I haven't talked to Promise about it but I know she's going to understand where I'm coming from."

"Well you know I got your back."

"What about pops? I know he said something to you about this shit."

"He did, he wants to stop fuckin' with you until you get rid of Promise."

"The fuck?"

"Same thing I said, bruh he's trying to exile your ass. He said if you don't stop dealing with her then he's just going to have to get rid of her himself."

"He's really on some other shit bruh," I clenched my jaw tight while sitting back in my seat. For him to even think about going that far with this shit is enough to make me wreck havoc. Father or not there is no fuckin' way I'm about to let him hurt Promise or my child.

"He is, I'm telling you like I told him. I'm not about to go against you just because they can't let some petty shit from twenty years ago go."

"What did he say?"

"He kicked me out of his office. That wasn't the kicker I expected that shit to happen. I walk out the door that nigga Nico walking in with a smile on his face. I already know I have to watch my back because of that sneaky muthafuckas, but you? Nigga you need to make sure you keep your eyes and ears open. He'll try some shit." Nodding my head I processed what Cai was telling me.

I already knew Nico was coming for me especially after I beat the shit out of him at Promise's party. The only thing that stopped him from coming at me before was my father; now that the nigga basically disowns me Nico is going to take that shit and run with it.

"Don't stress nothing, I got your back alright. Matter of fact I'm about to go see about some shit right now. Just do what you need to do to keep your family safe."

"Thanks man," We gave each other a dap before he got out of my car and jogged over to his.

After leaving Major I drove around for a good thirty minutes just thinking over everything that was happening. Shit was going upside down and I'm stuck in the middle of it. My father is out for blood because he feels like Major chose the enemy over the family, but I know the true story and that's not even close to what happened. I understand his anger but shit, we didn't know Promise was Marcel's daughter. Nobody really did, he keeps them out of his business so much I didn't even know the nigga had a daughter, well daughters. This nigga did a good job keeping them out of all this shit but it's a wrap now.

My pops is on some other shit for real, he's mad at Major and he's getting mad at me because I'm not taking his side on this shit. Yeah we fam, and the cartel is a family business but if he thinks I'm about to turn my back on my brother just because he fell for what he thinks is the wrong girl he's out of his mind. I guess I'm about to be on the same shit because I'm not going against my brother.
