(A:N the song is by Victoria Carbol I listen to her songs on repeat while I write. She had created a bunch of amazing songs based of A Throne of Glass I highly recommend checking her out)
~Sam
"what are you doing" I nearly screamed at them, they quickly jumped apart "Sam its not what it looks like" Celeana said "well it looks like you are cheating on me" I said "I'm not and if you trusted me you would also know that I am not" she told me and them she stormed out of the apartment.
It had been hours since she had left and finally Aedion went out to look for her a little while later he came back out of breath "She's gone" he gasped out even though I was still mad at the two but I would't want any harm to come to Celeana, Aedion maybe but Celeana defiantly not.
"Who, where" I asked "I went out to look for her and I saw her fighting like ten men one of them had auburn hair and grey eyes" he told me.
The second he described the man I knew exactly what had happened "Arobrynn" I growled.
I don't know what Aedion knew about Celena but he seemed to recognize the name and he walked right out the door "where are you going" I asked as I ran after him.
"to get her back, I lost her for ten years and I thought she was dead I'm not loosing her again" he said as he walked down the streets.
Wait what he knew Celeana before she came to the assassins keep?
But he was a prince then how would he have met Celeana and had her make such a big impression on him?
Unless she was a servant or maybe even a lords daughter?
I let this be my answer but my heart somehow knew that it was much more then this I would ask he when we got her back.
Finnally I realized he had no clue where he was going so I turned him around and we continued our march to the assassins keep.
We walked up to the gate a demanded to see Arobrynn Hamel a scared guard let us in and told us he was waiting in his office.
Aedion nearly ran down the hall he burst into the room and growled literally growled at Arobrynn, Aedion was a smart man he knew not to go after him so he just said "where the fuck is she" he responded with a bone chilling smile "I knew you would come Sam but Aedion what a surprise is she done being a coward and hiding from you" he asked Aedion was seconds away from loosing all of his common sense and lunging at the king of assassins so I took over.
"Where is she" I calmly asked "tut tut I was't talking to you was I" he asked "I was talking to the Wolf of the North and I believe I have something he might want" then he went over to a chest and pulled out a necklace?
Aedion seemed to recognize it as he asked "where did you find that" "why it was on the girl I took it as a price for saving her from that river bank" he told Aedion.
Now I was really scared that Aedion would try to kill him and he might just succeed not that I liked The King of Assassins I just really did't want all of his lackeys coming after us.
I gently squeezed Aedions arm hoping to bring him back to reality and it worked until Arobrynn told us "I sent her to the palace" this time I exploded "why would you do that you basically just sentenced her to death"!
He calmly waited for my to finish before continuing "The king is holding a compition to find his Champion and the crown prince came to me asking for my best assassin to sponsor and I was't going to give him less then my best so I gave him Celeana. If she wins she will be in the kings service for six years doing his dirty work if she loses they will send her to Endoiver" he held up a hand to single me to stay quite "so she still has a pretty good chance of survival" he finished.
By now both Aedion and I were basically red with rage I was about to give him a piece of my mind but Aedion beat me to it "you clearly know what that monster did to us but you still chose to sent her to that pit of hell (anyone get my reference?).
Arobrynn stayed silent for a minute before speaking "we will just have to see how our little princess does won't we" he told us.
"If you're not going to give us anything we might as well leave" Aedion said and he turned to walk out the door but not before he whispered something in Arobrynns ear and grabbed the necklace he was still holding.
Aedion~
This man was a monster I could't believe that I had let Aelin live with this monster for ten years.
Arobrynn clearly knew who Aelin was and he was having a heck of a time showing me that he did, I did my best to ignore him until he called her a princess so I walked over to him and whispered in his ear "she's not a princess she's a fucking queen" then I ripped our family heirloom from his disgusting hands and turned my back on him I walked right out of that vile building not looking back once.
Until next time peace out!
