Celeana ~

After waiting what felt like hours Sam finally walked through the door with our potential client walking behind him.

I couldn't quite see who the person was but I would be able to meet them once they sat down.

As the pair neared the table I could hear their conversation, Sam's smooth voiced mixed with a hard one.

Even though it had been years and the voice was much deeper know I still recognized it the second I heard him speak.

I pushed back from the table leaving my half eaten food on the table and ran.

I had no idea what I was going to do but I did know that I needed to get away, the farther I got from the two of them the louder the voices in my head got but I ignored them.

For years I had suppressed my past but suddenly it was all coming crashing back on me, with the memories and now my cousin showing up it feels like everything is against me.

When I finally got to the room Sam and I shared I shut the door behind me and fell to my knees panting but not from the run.

No I was terrified about what would happen if Aedion saw me there was no way he would not recognize me, I knew who he was the second I saw him.

What would he think of what I had become?

He was working for the King now but I couldn't judge him not with all the blood that stained my hands.

When we were younger he was the only one who would stay by me and not run away in fear, when I was banned from the library he was the one who snuck my books to read.

Aedion my dear cousin how had you been?

Sam~

As I walked with the former prince of Terrasan to where Celeana was sitting we talked about the job he wanted to hire us for.

It was a simple assassination but it would pay dearly.

Suddenly he froze, then a look of hope flashed across his face but it is quickly replaced by a look of despair.

I follow his gaze to a table where a familiar blond head ran away from us.

"Who was that" he asks with hints of desperation hidden in his voice.

"Celeana Sardorthian, Ardalans Assassin" I replied.

Any surprise on his face was quickly hidden "I would like to meet her" he says.

"I'll try but she just ran away from you so I can't guaranty that she''ll want to meet you" I say will a chuckle.

We continue on our walk but I can't help but wonder why Celeana ran away.

Even though I told him it was his fault I didn't really believe that, yes he was a important person she had dealed with much more before.

Aedion~

(A:N) random fact has anyone ever realized that Aedion spelt backward is no idea or am I just late to making this discovery?

As I walked with the young who was possibly going to help me with a problem I had recently encountered I caught a whiff of a distantly familiar scent.

It was the scent of Lemongrass and crackling embers.

For a moment I let myself hope but I quickly pushed the feelings down, because by now I know that if I allow my feelings into things like this I'm bound to get hurt.

Sam and I sit down and begin our meals but my mind is still stuck on the infamous assassin who just retreated from this dining hall.

The color of her hair confirmed that what I had heard about her was most likely true and she would be more willing to help me with my real quest then any regular citizen of Ardalan.

Celeana~

When I had calmed myself down just enough where I could be composed I went to the training room to work of my remaining nerves.

I had been working out for a while when another person entered the room I didn't think anything of it until a cocky voice called out "Looks like your friend was right on how to find you".

I froze but manage to collect myself after I make sure the wind is to my back so he could not pick up my scent.

"What do you want" I ask trying to sound as uninterested as I could.

"See I need two assassins so that one of them can get rid of a small problem but in reality its so no one figures out what I really need" he says.

"I've heard growing rumors that my little cousin in still alive and I need help trying to figure out if they are true of not" he finishes.

I almost laugh outlaid at his request, the people spreading the rumors are flat out lying but that doesn't mean that they don't have some truth behind them.

With out even giving it a though I give him my answer "Absoultly not" I say as I start off toward the door.

"Why not, why won't you help your people?" he asks me trying to guilt me into helping him.

"You don't get to question me about how I choose to survive" I growl then I walk out on him.

Until next time peace out!
