Chapter 8

Sam~ 

I missed Celeana I had't talked to her in months and we had't parted on the best terms of course I had caught glimpses of her but I had never actually talked to her then I saw her one day with the captain of the guard on the docks she was whispering things in his ear he looked frightened then confused then she walked away and boarded a boat.

I asked a young boy who was working on the war where that boat was heading he told me it was going to Wendlyn.

I was confused why would Celeana be going to Wendlyn, I would think most of the people the king would want gone would be here in Ardalan.

Aelin~ 

I had just arrived back in Ardalan I had bought red hair dye to hid my appearance then I walk in to the Vaults were I find Chaol and Arobrynn talking.

After Chaol leaves I slide into the chair across from Arobrynn and he tells me how that Aedions hulking ass got him self imprisoned for treason. 

He said he would help me get him back if I brought him a valg demon. 

Later that day I meet a woman who leads me into the sewers saying Chaol is down there.

I learn what happened in the castle that day and how Chaol is now working with the rebels. 

Then Sam comes.

Sam~

I was just walking the docks like I do every day since I saw Celeana leave then today I see a person who strikes my interest she has red hair and carries herself so confidently so I follow her to see where she is going.

She walked to the vaults and watches two men have a conversation then when one of them leave she slides into his seat then I realize that this man is Arobryn Hamel. 

Then the mystery lady leaves after having what seems like a very heated conversation with Arobryn. 

Her and another lady met up and they went into the sewers they meet up with another man who I recognize as the man with Arobrynn early and who was with Celeana when she left that day he was the Captain of the guard. 

Then I hear what they call each other "Chaol" the redhead says "Celeana" he says back he whispered something to her but I could't understand what he says.

Then I realized that he called her Celeana this could't be Celeana could it?

But I still wait in the shadows as the two of them argue about something I can't understand then the maybe Celeana holds up a hand and says "stop someone is here" then she motions for me to come out of hiding. 

I walk out and everyone is silent "sam what are you"doing she asks me "well I saw you and I did't recognize you so I followed you and now I'm here" I say.

Celeana looks different she looks like a leader she is standing tall and her eyes are shining brighter then I have ever seen them before, she also has two new swords at her waist. 

"fine lets go back to my apartment" she says then Chaol whispers something in here ear and her face lights up "like Ren and Murtaugh Allsbrook" she asked him he nodded back and she nearly ran out of the sewers to her apartment. 

We get to her apartment but she tells me to wait out side while she goes in for a minute then she opens the door and gestures for us to come in.

Inside there are two men a older one and a younger one she introduces them as Ren and Murtaugh they both wave to us but they to have this overwhelming look of joy on their face and they keep glancing back to Celeana and every time they did their smile kept getting bigger. 

Then they all sit down and start to plan how they will get Aedion back I try to put in any advice I can but I'm honestly lost. 

~time skip~ 

Everyone is getting ready to break Aedion out of prison I'm supposed to be a look out making sure nothing goes wrong. 

I'm worried for Celeana she's in the middle of the whole operation and she't never dealt with high ranking valg before and I worry she will hurt herself.

I just walked up to my roof top post and got ready for the show I spot Aedion right away then out comes Celeana soon after the area goes up in smoke.

Celeana grabs Aedion and starts to run for the exit she's cutting down valg as if they were paper then she is stoped by a valg prince she seems to have a conversation with him before raising a sword over his neck but then a arrow flew out of no where and knocked her sword away she gave the archer a dirty look then kept running with Aedion by her side.

The more I looked at them the more I realized how similar they looked but I dismissed it because  such coloring must be common in Terrasan.

They jumped into a carriage with Lysandra and Chaol then I lost sight of them.
