Im What!

Chapter 12

Quick authors note. I'm skipping to the beginning of December (So about two weeks later). I didn't really know what to write for those two weeks so...yeah. Enjoy

Today was the last hogsmeade trip before everyone left for break. The young couple decided they wanted to do a bit of christmas shopping and ginny needed some maternity robes. They haven't told their families ginny was pregnant yet so that was the theme of their gifts for their parents. Now, they were sitting at breakfast deceiving what they would get. 

“We could give dad a picture of baby A and your parents a picture of baby B. Then get something else to say they are twins. Im not sure for the genders though” Harry told ginny

“Yeah i like that idea. Maybe we could get onesies for the twins part. They probably won't notice that they are different babies. And we could reveal the genders on New Years with poppers'' Ginny said as she bit into her toast

“It is settled then. We can get what we can today and the rest at Diagon alley” the soon-to-be father said to his finance. The couple finished breakfast and took the carriages to Hogsmead. After shopping for a good few hours and getting what they needed Ginny started to get tired so they went back to the castle.

When Harry and Ginny were back in their dorm, the latter of the two collapsed on the couch.

“What do you think their genders will be?” Ginny asked looking at her tiny bump and rubbing it

“I'm not sure. Hopefully they are both girls so they will look just like their mummy” Harry said placing his hand on top of Ginny's hand on her bump.

“Maybe it will be a boy and a girl. The little boy with messy black hair and your green eyes. And a pretty redheaded girl with your eyes as well” 

“I think they should both have your eyes. That beautiful rich chocolate color. But i couldn't care less what they look like” Harry said then looked down at the small bump and spoke “I'll still love you both the same no matter what. And i'll always love you both and mummy more than anything else” He then leaned down and kissed his fiance's stomach.

“You're such a sap” Ginny blubbered “God i hate bloody hormones!” She said as she feverishly brushed tears away. Harry kissed her head and the two just cuddle on their common room couch until dinner. 

~A few days later~

Ginny woke up and was immediately plagued with nausea once again. She rushed into the bathroom. Moments later she was getting sick. She felt a hand start to rub her back and someone kissed the back of her head. Harry. How did she ever deserve someone so caring? She was soon crying sitting on the bathroom floor. Harry was next to her with an arm around her shoulders. 

“What's wrong baby?” Harry asked

“What did i do to deserve such a caring father of my children and fiance?” She sobbed

“Everything, gin. You deserve everything from just being you” he kissed her temple. Next he found himself rubbing her back again. Hopefully this stops soon. Was all harry though as he comforted Ginny while she was suffering from morning sickness. 

“Can we ditch today? I don't want to do anything. Just cuddle and sleep. I feel miserable” Ginny said, sitting back down. Harry nodded and sent a patronus off to Minnie saying they needed a day off. He got one in return telling Ginny to feel better. 

Ginny continued to empty her stomach for another good 30-45 minutes before she was finished. Today was worse than most days. After cleaning up she curled up back in bed with Harry and held him close. She fell asleep almost immediately. He let her sleep. Harry knew she needed it and she looked so peaceful. Around 12:30 ginny woke up. She found Harry reading what looked like a muggle novel.

“What are you reading?” She asked looking up him

“Tuck Everlasting, it's a muggle book. There's a film based off of it” Harry said as he put in his bookmark and put it on the nightstand. “Are you feeling any better, love?” 

“A little. I'm still a little queasy but not enough that i'm going to get sick again, thank god. Do you think the potion poppy gave us would help, so i can eat something?” She asked her finance with a hopeful look

“I don't see why not. Why don't you take a bath and get ready? I'll get a house elf to bring up some food and i'll go ask Madam Pomfry if the potion will help” She nodded and went into the bathroom. He call a house elf and asked for some lunch. Harry then stepped out of the portrait hole and almost ran into someone. 

“Oh harry! You scared me. How have you been?” Herminoe asked

“Oh hey ‘Minoe. I've been ok. Gins not feeling great today. I'm about to go ask Poppy if the potion she gave us during Gin's first trimester will help now. How have you been?”

“I've been good. But poor ginny. Shouldn't the morning sickness stop soon?” the curly haired girl asked

“We can only hope it does. She's miserable in the mornings and some days are worse than others. Normally morning sickness goes away around 12 weeks and gins 14 weeks now.’’ Harry sighed as they got to the hospital wing doors. The friends parted ways. He walked in and asked his question and was given a yes.

When he got back to their room he saw Ginny nibbling on the corner of a sandwich. He told her that it will get rid of that last bit of nausea. She took the potion then ate some food, Harry did the latter as well. 

At about 3 o’clock they got ready for one of their most important appointments yet. They would be finding out the genders of the twins.
