Chapter 13

The nervous but excited soon-to-be parents made their way down the halls to the hospital wing hand in hand. They were excited to know the gender. When they appeared in front of the big wooden doors they looked at each other, smiled, nodded and pushed the doors open. They were met by a smiling Madam Pomfry exiting her office. 

“Good afternoon, you two. Just on time. Are you excited?” The madiwitch asked, leading them to their usual secluded bed in the corner. 

“Yeas but also utterly terrified” Harry chuckled. Ginny nodded. Poppy chucked as well

“Well why don't we get started? Let's start with just a check up. How have you been feeling, ginny?”

“Pretty good most days. Just tired. I was miserable this morning. Was throwing up got a good 30-45 minutes then took a four hour nap” Ginny said 

“The morning sickness shough go away soon. But the more you grow the more tired you'll be. Also who all have you told?” 

“My sister, Astoria, our friends and Minnie. We are planning on telling Ginny's family, my dad and little sister on christmas and their gender on new years” Harry told her. SHe nodded. 

“Ok, so i'm going to use the muggle device again. I'll get you photos as well, some with the gender and some without. Would you like some 3D as well?” They nodded. Poppy conjured the ultrasound machine. She put the jelly on Ginny's bump. Ginny shivered at its cold temperature. Madam Pomfry moved the probe around to find the babies and took screenshots. Harry and Ginny couldn't stop from smiling at the screen before them. 

“Since you want to know the gender early im going to do two things. One, a muggle blood test. With wizarding technology I'll have the results in 5 minutes. And secondly a spell that will confirm the blood test” She did a spell to take blood from both babies and ginny. Poppy then left to her office and came back five minutes later. The mediwitch then did another spell and a piece of parchment appeared out of nowhere. 

“Are you ready for me to tell you?” She asked her patients

“More than ready!” They said together

“Ok. Baby A is a girl. And baby B is a girl as well! Congrats you too”

“I was right,” Harry whispered to Ginny, making her smile

“That you were but we still have 5 months till we know who they look like. But were gonna have to little girls running around” She said happily

“Yes we are” Harry kissed her. 

The couple left the school's hospital wing happier than ever. Tomorrow morning they would be going on the train home for christmas. Everyone (The Weasleys, Harry, Siri, Vivi and Asty) are theying at the now cherry Malfoy Manor for Christmas break. The engaged couple decided to tell everyone of their engagement at dinner when they got home. 

~The Next Morning~

Ginny decided to wake up early just in case she had morning sickness again. Thank god, because she did, unfortunately. She was throwing up for nearly two and a half hours! She was absolutely miserable and just wanted to sleep. 

“I'm sorry you feel so bad baby. Once we get on the train you can go to sleep, okay?” Harry asked as he rubbed her back. She just nodded and got sick some more. How much more can i have in me?! She asked herself. Ginny finally felt the nausea fade away and she leaned back.

“It's going away now. I'm going to take a bath. Can you get me a pair of your sweats and hoodie for me?” 

“Ok love” Harry said and left to get the clothes. Ginny drew her bath and got in. It felt great to her. She quickly washed and got out. Ginny put on the clothes and her hair in a messy bun. 

They made their way to the carriages when their friends caught up with them. 

“Geeze you look like hell Weaselette” Blaise said

“I feel like it. I just want to sleep.” Ginny said

“They obviously aren't morning people, just like their parents. We're probably just going to go to the Head compartment to be alone once we're on the train. I hope you all don't mind? Also Herminoe, Draco? Can you tell the other prefects that you all need to patrol the train?”

“Of course Harry. I hope you feel better Ginny” Hermione. Ginny nodded into Harry's chest as they walked down to the carriages to take to the station.
