“What should we name them?” Harry asked after a few minutes of silence.
“Umm...i'm not sure. Why don't you pick baby B's first name and I'll pick A’s then we switch for the middle name?”
“Sounds good love,” Harry tells her.
The two new parents switch babies. The two study their baby, trying to find the perfect first name. Harry was smiling at his child when he heard a sniffle from next to him.
“What's wrong Gin?”
“God, I hate hormones! But she has your eyes” She told him while she whipped her eyes. Harry looked at the baby in the love of his life's arms and smiled. He looked back down at the small baby in his arms again and saw her eyes open as well.
“So does she,” Harry said barely above a whisper.
“Yeah she does. They're both beautiful” Ginny said barely above a whisper as well.
Both parents stayed silent after that while looking at the baby in each of their arms. Ginny broke the silence
“Delilah. Baby As name should be Delilah”
“Delilah Ginavera Potter” Harry replied but adding the middle name
“Hi, Delilah and welcome to the world. Now we have to name your sister” Ginny said to her younger daughter in her arms.
“What about Charlotte, gin?”
“Perfect. Charlotte Lily Potter it is” Ginny said
“Hi there little one. Yeah, your little Charlotte Lily Potter. Welcome to the family little one” Harry told his daughter and kissed her tiny forehead.
“Their perfect Harry. I could not ask for anything more”
“Me neither Gin. I love you”
“I love you too”
Yay, they're named! I know the chapters are short but I want a whole chapter or two for what happens next. I Played around with the middle names a bit before picking Ginevera and Lily. I thought I would keep with the tradition both families did with their children with Ginevra Molly and Harry James. I also thought Delilah was fitting as it's a flower name and so was Lily and Petunias. I was thinking Charlotte's name could be Charli and Deliahs could be Lilah. What do you think?
