Chapter 17

~Christmas Eve: a week later~

It was finally Christmas eve. One day before they told their families. Harry and Ginny were excited but nervous but anxious to get it out. They both hoped everyone was ok with it. 

The families spent the day playing games, baking, decorating and for harry and Ginny, cuddling. The couple spent the day on the couch in the Manors newly made movie room watching christmas classics and drinking hot chocolate. They would have helped around the house but Ginny, though she didn't get sick, she didn't feel all that well. So they chose to opt out. 

After dinner everyone sat around the lounge room and talked. Slowly the kids were being put to bed and people started to head to bed aw well. When harry and ginny went up to their room and in bed Harry asked ginny

“Are our families going to be happy for us tomorrow?”

“I'm sure. They love us both so i wouldn't see why not. Now, we both know Padfoot is going to be licking our faces bright and early in the morning. So stop worrying and get some sleep” Ginny told her fiance. She kissed him before snuggling to close and going to sleep. 

~The next morning~

“OI! Padfoot get off. It's too early” Harry groaned as the animagus licked his face. 

“Come on pads get off” Harry said

“Arff”

“I know it's christmas but-” Harry was cut off

“Arff arff”

“Fine. Fine. We'll be down in a little. Now out dad” Padfoot started to trot his way out of the room when he got an idea. Pads was halfway around the bad when he jumped back on and pawed Ginny. 

“Not now” She mumbled and pushed Padfoot off. He pawed her again and her eyes flew open. Not even seconds later she was out of bed and running to the bathroom. Sirius ended up on the floor and changed back. 

“What's wrong with her?” He asked his son with concern. 

“She's sick. Well be down in a little” Harry said and made his way to comfort Ginny. Sirius left, confused. 

Thankfully her morning sickness wasn't bad today and she was better a few minutes later. After they both took showers and got read then went down to eat breakfast. 

As they ate, Sirius gave them odd, questioning looks. Not even 30 minutes ago she was in the bathroom throwing up and now she's eating like she's been starved. What in merlin is going on?, Sirius thought to himself. Still confused he shrugged and went back to eating. (A/N: Mary did not have morning sickness with either of the girls and lily didn't have too much with Harry so he's completely oblivious. Though he knows its a symptom)

Once everyone was done eating they moved to the large living room with the tree. They opened up most of the gifts. Harry got some books, candy, clothes, a broomstick surviving kit, and his weasley sweater. Ginny got pretty much the same stuff. The young couple decided to give their gifts to each other later. Soon most of the presents were gone. All that was left were the gifts for Molly, Arthur, Fed George and Sirius from Harry and Ginny. 

“Ok so the last gifts are you mum, dad, and sirius. We want you guys to open them at the same time” Ginny told them as Harry gave the parecles to the parents. Ince harry was back on the couch next to Ginny they nodded for their parents to begin. Molly and Sirius ripped the paper off to reveal a framed sonogram picture. 

“Your pregnant?” Molly asked her daughter. 

“Yeah mum” Ginny smiled. Molly immediately hugged her and Harry

“Your so young. But i can't be mad because molly and i were your age when we had Bill” Arthur said still staring at the frame

“We know were young but we've got it all planned out, right Gin?” Harry said. Ginny nodded. 

“OHHHH!” Sirius yelled as he connected the dots. Everyone burst out laughing “I'm gonna be a grandad!” everyone laughed harder

“Yes dad, yes you are” Harry dis laughing

    “Wait so Ginny doesn't have a stomach bug?” Ron asked

     “No, I don't. I get really bad ‘morning’ sickness some days where it lasts all day, like the day we got back from school” Ginny said

    “Who's been your healer? How far along are you, dear?” Mrs.Weasley asked

    “Madam pomfrey and 16 weeks” Harry said. 

    “Do you know the gender?” Sirius asked

    “Yes. But you all get to wait till new years to know. But we have two more gifts for Fred and George” Ginny said. 

     Harry handed them each a wrapped box. They both ripped them open in sync. They both pulled out two onesies. But they didn't go together. They went with one that the other had. 

    “Shit just got real…” Fred said

     “Like really real” George finished

      “And Did we just become best friends?” Fred started

      “Yep!” George replied. 

     “YOUR HAVING TWINS!” The weasley twins yelled

     “Yep!” Harry said. Fred and George were jumping up and down

     “Congratulations dears” Molly said with tears threatening to fall

     “WAIT! TWINS! You never told me!” Astoria yelled

     “We know. You may have been the second person we told we Ginny was pregnant but that doesn't mean you will always be the first. Besieged we decided to tell everyone today” Harry told his sister. 

    The rest of the day went smoothly. Everyone was absolutely elated that Harry and Ginny were having twins. But there was still one thing they needed to tell everyone. 

    “Hey guys so we still have one thing to tell everyone. We know this is a lot of information for one day but since we are getting married and Gins pregnant we decide” Harry turned to ginny to continue

    “We decided that we want to move out once the babies are born. We already bought a house in Scotland and it's mostly ready to move into. We just wanted to let you all know” Ginny finished

     “That's very responsible of you two. But remember that we are always here to help” Molly said then went to hug them. 

      The large, crazy, dysfunctional family spent the rest of christmas day hanging around the house. Herminoe, Dean, Seamus, Luna and Neville all came over for a little but went home before dinner. The Lupins, Remus, Tonks, and one year old Teddy, came over for dinner, as well as Andromeda. This was definitely the best christmas the young couple could have wished for. 

Chapter 17: DONE! I hope you enjoyed the chapter and the story as a whole. I had a lot of fun with this chapter. I'm sorry I keep writing about the morning sickness but it comes into play later I promise, and there isn't much drama in the story so that's the closest I'm getting, lol.
