Im What!

Chapter 24

     After watching their babies and pointing out their minor differences and every little detail the small family went to bed. The night was peaceful until the next morning when they had two really loud and hungry alarm clocks. 

“You get ‘um harry. I'm too tired” Ginny said into her pillow. Harry hummed his response and got up. 

“Hey girls. What's up? Do you need a diaper change? Or a bottle? I can be both if you would like'' Harry said as he changed Delilah's diaper then moved to Charlotte and did the same. When he was done Ginny was up and making two bottles. Each parent grabbed a baby and a bottle then got comfortable on the bed again. The new parents fed and burped each baby then Ginny went in for a shower while Harry put new clothes on them.

When Gin was done Harry went in. While he was in the shower there was a pecking at the window. The red headed mother went to open the window to let the owl in. It had three letters in its beak. One from their friends, one from Poppy and the last one from Minnie. 

“Whatcha got there love?” Harry asked as he stepped out of the bathroom and over to the bassinets to find two sleeping newborns. 

“Letters from Minnie, Poppy, and our friends. Our friends say hi and are asking when they can come. Poppy says to write to her about how everything went and that while we are at school she will care for the twins medically. And Minnie is asking if we are coming back or going home after along with a congratulations”

“Ok. Tell our friends they can come whenever, if that's fine with you of course. Respond to Poppy as well. And I think we should go back and I'll go to classes some days and you others. We can just get each other's notes or have a friend get the. That work for you?” Harry aked

“Yeah that's fine. While I respond, can you go get food please?” Ginny asked while she wrapped her arms around his torso. 

“Of course love,” The new father replied. He kissed her softly then went to kiss each of his daughters on the head before leaving the room. 

Half an hour later Harry came back with pancakes, smoothies, fruit, eggs and bacon. The 17 year olds feasted on the food until Ginny broke the silence

“Who should their godparents be?” 

“Umm...Draco and Mione for one or both” Harry replied

“Yeah. Lets do Draco and Mione for Delilah and Neville and Luna or Neville and Mione for Charlotte” Ginny suggested. 

“It's settled then. Hermione and Draco are Delilah's god parents and Neville and Luna are Charlottes” Her finance smiled. 

Later Molly stopped by again and brought snacks and some more essentials. Around 3 that afternoon there was a knock at the door. 

“Come in!” Ginny said as she picked Charlotte, who was crying. The door opened and nine people walked in. 

“Hey, how are you?” Hermione asked. 

“We're great. They are both very easy babies” Harry said

“What did you name them?” Pansy asked

“This is Deliah Ginevera Potter. She's older by three minutes” Harry said since he was holding her

“And this is Charlotte Lily Potter, '' Ginny told her friends. Everyone took turns holding each baby. Soon Theo, Blaise, Pansy, Dean, and Seamus all left as they wanted to get homework done. To everyone's surprise Hermione wanted to say, alsong with Draco, Neville, and Luna. 

“So, who all has come to see you guys?” Neville asked

“Just our parents, Reg, Asty, Aunt Cissy, and you guys. Dad should be bringing Viv Saturday along with Chloe. And tomorrow I think Gin's brothers are coming” Harry said as he rocked a sleeping Charlotte. The six seventeen year olds talk for a little while and pass around both infant girls. 

“Well it quite funny that you four decided to stay” Ginny chuckled

“Why is that, Ginny?” Luna asked. 

“Well… we wanted you to ask your four to be their god parents. More specifically Draco and Mione would be Deliahs and Nev and Luna would be Charlottes” Harry said. 

“Really?!?” All four asked at the same time

“Yes really. Do you all accept?” Ginny asked

“Of course we all do, right guys?” Mione akeds. Everyone nods. Not soon after the four godparents left back to school. Harry, Ginny and the twins just hung around the rest of the evening. 

The next day was full of events as well. The young couple and their kids were visited by Ginny's brothers, the Lupins, as well as Sirius with Chloe, Vivienne, and surprisingly Stella and Astoria as well. Molly and Arthur stopped by as well. After all the family left the twins’ pediatrician came in and took them for their newborn screenings and all the other things they needed to do. The new parents got the results from the newborn screenings the next day and thankfully nothing was wrong. 

On Sunday, the 27, they were released to go back to Hogwarts. Upon arriving there they set up a nursery for the twins and ended up shopping at Hogsmeade for preemie clothes for both Charlotte and Delilah. 

The small family could not be happier in their current situation. Buth 17 year old parents had a good balance between school and family and the babies were wonderful. They rarely cried and slept through most of the night and only woke up once or twice. 

Heyyyyy!!! So, how did you like the chapter? I enjoyed writing it so I hope you enjoyed reading it. This story is coming to a close thought. BUT! BUT! BUT! There is going to be a sequel and a prequal! And there is still one more chapter (just FYI).
