Chapter 23

~ Back at hogwarts: not long after Harry and Gin left~

Harry Ginny just left and Poppy was grateful, as her 7th year pre-med class started bustling in. Pansy and Draco looked confused as Ginny wasn't there. They let it go during class as she very well could just be having a bad day with morning sickness. Both Slytherins decided to ask the Mediwitch after class. 

“Umm Madam Pomfrey?” Pansy asked 

“Yes, Miss Parkinson?”

“Have you seen Ginny?” Darco asked

“Yes. Both took an emergency port key to St. Mungos just before class started. Someone put the antidote to Anmortinia in Ginny's drink and it caused her to go into early labor. I haven't gotten word on if she had had the twins yet or not”

“Really!?! That's great!” Pansy said

“Not quite Pans. Gin was only 30 weeks. She just started her third trimester not long ago and still had 10 weeks left. They probably won't be able to leave the hospital for the next 10 weeks” 

“Right you are Mr. Malfoy. I'll let the two of you know if I hear everything. I believe Minavera sent Miss Black along with Professor Black to St. Mungos already”

“Alright thank you” Pansy replied and they left. 

“We should tell Theo, Blaise, Luna, Neville, Dean, Seamus, and ‘Mione,”  Draco told his friend, who nodded. The two spent the rest of the afternoon finding their friends and telling them. 

~With Harry, Ginny, Charlotte and Delilah~

Harry and Ginny sat in their room with their daughters. Both parents were completely elated that both Charlotte and Delilah were healthy, surprisingly. Both teens thought the girls would be small as they are exactly 10 weeks early. But no, both are at the normal weight for twins. 

“I still can't believe they are fraternal twins. They look the exact same.” Harry said as she sat next to Ginny on the hospital bed with Delilah in his arms.

“I know. If we weren't their mum and dad I would think they are identical. Except for Delilah's messy hair” Ginny chuckled while playing with the little babys small bit of red fluff. 

“Why don't I get our parents?” The raven haired boy asked

“Sure love,” Ginny said. Harry handed her Delilah, so she had both babies, and left the room. Harry made his way to the lobby to find five people talking. 

“Hey guys” Harry said leaning against the wall. 

“Harry. Hey. How are you?” Sirius asked

“Good. All four of us are. Why don't you come back and see them?” 

“Sure,” They all said. As they were walking Astoria was jumping with joy

“What do they look like? Have you guys named them? Who are the godparents?” She asked Harry with a bunch of excitement.

“Calm down Asty. Yes we have named them, but we'll tell you soon and you will see what they look like. Now when I left one baby was asleep so be quiet” Harry told them. He knocked on the door and stuck his head in. “Can they come in?” Ginny nodded. Harry walked in and opened the door. Once everyone was in he walked over to Ginny and gave her a nod. 

“Well everyone, this is Delilah Ginavera and this is Charlotte Lily” Ginny said. Motioning to both, now sleeping, babies as she said their name. Molly was the first to come over. 

“They're beautiful. And so small” Molly said, looking at the babies. Arthur standing behind her. 

“We know. But they are at the right birth weight for twins” Harry said. 

“They look so alike. If I didn't know I would think they were identical” Sirius said, coming up with Astoria on the other side of the bed. 

“Except for Delilah's messy little tuft of hair,” Arthur chuckled. 

“Would you guys like to hold them?” Ginny asked. Molly nodded and Ginny handed her Charlotte. Harry handed Delilah to Sirius. Soon Molly handed the baby to Arthur and Sirius handed Delilah to Molly. After everyone got to hold the infants Sirius turned to Harry. 

“You know, they both look just like your mum. Their hair is a tad bit brighter though” Sirius chuckled. Harry nodded looking down at Charlotte, who was in his arms. She was looking all around the room with her bright green eyes open wide. 

“Well why don't we all head out. Let you four spend time together and I know Reg and Astoria need to get back to school” Molly said. Everyone nodded and said goodbye. Soon it was just the four left in the room. 

“It feels like a dream” Ginny said looking at Delilah

“It does. How is it that we are parents of two beautiful girls?” Harry asked moving to sit next to Ginny while holding Charlotte. 

“I have no idea but they are both the best of both of us. My red hair”

“My green eyes”

“Charlotte has your face”

“Delilah has yours”

“They both have your nose, gin”

“Yeah they do. They're just perfect”

“They really are. I can't wait to see them grow up” Harry said then kissed each girl on the forehead and Ginny on the lips.
