👭Chapter 10👬

Over the next few weeks Ginny's stomach started to grow. With her school robes you would never notice it unless you kew or looked carefully. She's around 5 weeks now. Today the young couple decided to tell Headmistress McGonagle. 

Harry and Ginny walked hand in hand to the golden gargoyle. Once they were there they said the password, Lily, and went up the steps. At the top Harry knocked and opened the door when he heard a ‘come in’

“Mr. Potter. Miss. Weasley. What can I do for you?” Minnie asked

“Well we wanted to let you know if a few thing that aren't really school related” Ginny said blushing

“Go on” She said with a knowing look in her eyes

“Madam Promfry said it would be best to let you know that Ginny is with child and is due at the end of the year” Harry said

“Well congratulations to the both of you. Thank you for letting me know. I am assuming this happened before school started?” Minnie asked while giving then ‘the look’

“Yes” GInny lied.

“Well good. And I'm guessing you will be continuing school, yes?” Both nodded. “Very well. I'm happy for the both of you” McGonagal said with a genuine smile. 

“Thank you professor. Have a good day” Harry said. She nodded asn the 7th years headed out. 

The next two weeks past, Gin is now around 7 weeks pregnant. The young parents-to-be were on their way to an appointment with Madam Pomfry. They should get to hear the heartbeat. 

Ginny was lying on the bed. Harry was sitting next to her. The curtains were closed around them. Poppy was waving her wand and muttering incantations. 

“Ok. this next  spell i'm going to do will let you hear the heartbeat” She did the spell. Soft thumping could be heard. But there was something odd about it. Madam Pomfry turned to the couple and asked

“Do twins run in both of your families?”

“My mum has twin brothers, i have twin brothers, and i believe my grandmum, on my dads side, had a twin sister.” Ginny said

“I believe my mum and Petunia were twins. Why do you ask?” Harry asked

“If you listen closely there's something different about the heartbeat. It sounds like it's being echoed. With twins running in your familys then there's a chance they'll be twins. We won't be able to tell till your about 10 weeks. So in november” Both Harry and Ginny nodded. Poppy continued to check the baby(s) and then sent them on their way.
