Carli's face is shocked, and confused at the same time. Her face is hurt, and anger takes over. Tears threatening to escape her hurtful eyes. Her eyes look so isloated, so far away. She walks over to Scott, slapping him across the cheek. I stand back in the corner, watching the communsion.

She then turns to him, "You selfish, bastard! How could you? I thought you actually loved me, but here you are making love to my best friend! " She yells at him.

He stands there emotionally, "I know I am, Carli I am sorry. I am drunk, and I am not thinking straight" He slurs out, drunkily.

She sighs, running a hand through her hair. "I don't care, Scott. You can make your own way home" She replies, throwing the rest of her drink on him.

She turns to me, "I can't believe you, Gemma! After all people, I thought you were my friend. But yet here you are, kissing or making-out with my boyfriend" She yells at me, her voice cracking.

My heart aches, and I feel guilty, like I should be. After all she did catch my heavily make-out with her boyfriend. "Carli, I am so sorry! I am drunk, I don't know what I was thinking. I should go, you two can talk it out" I reply, giving a some sort of smile. I open the door, taking one glance over the shoulder I see Scott's mouth turn into a frown.

I take a sigh, opening the door. Walking out, I close the door behind me. I take a deep breath, before I slide down onto the floor. I then listen to the yells of Carli, and the pleads of Scott. My heart feels like shattering into pieces, this is because of me. I shouldn't of did that.

I stay there for a few minutes, before grabbing the wall standing up I walk down the stairs. When I reach the bottom, my eyes immediately start looking for Melissa. As I stand there, I see Melissa standing against the wall, rearranging her dress.

I take a deep shaky breath, before I make my way to Melissa. Walking through grinding bodies, loving couples and most of all my heartbreak. I make it to Melissa, she notices me and she walks over to me. Her red dress is now shorter, and she is smiling.

She then smiles more, David walks over to her. Wrapping his spare hand around her waist, she takes the cup from his hand, "Hey, what's wrong? Your eyes are really puffy" She questions, taking a sip from her cup.

I take a deep breath, "Hey Melissa, something came up! Can we go now? I don't want to talk about it" I reply, looking at her with pleading eyes.

She sighs but nods', she turns to David. They say their goodbyes before she gives him a kiss. Walking over to me, we both walk towards the car. We both get in, before Melissa drives.

The car ride was pretty silent, just some wind breezing past. I sigh before I press my forehead against the window, my eyes getting the best of my before I close my eyes.

As I feel a pair of arms wrapped around my waist, I couldn't help but snuggle closer to them. I hear the person chuckle, his chest vibrating. I sigh before I fall back into a sleep, my nostrils filled with his scent.

I woke up the vibrant sound of Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding blarring through my room. My head pounding as I awake from my eventful night.

I groan before I reach over for my phone, missing two phone calls from Melissa and one from HarperCollins Publishers. I spring out of my bed before I read the message from the Publishers.

My heart pounding from my chest I open the message.
