Song Of The Chapter= Ed Sheeran, One <3
As Melissa and I continue to walk down the street, the cold breeze blowing, flowing to my thighs. Making me shiver, we continue to walk in silence. Her texting David, as usual. I sigh as we walk further, arriving at the mall, Melissa squeals like a child in excitement.
We enter the mall, the scent of freshness fills my nostrils. We continue to walk, entering a few shop every half an hour. We will be here for a hour, knowing Melissa. I enter a shop, that does dresses, crop top, skinny jeans and shorts. I walk down the rack of clothes, taking one dress, a pair of shorts, and a crop top I make my way into the changing rooms.
Trying on the dress, the thin material clings to my body. Showing my curves off, the white material is flowing down in strip. The first lining stops at my breast, slanting side-ways, the next one stops at just stopping at the line below my stomach, and then goes back in slimming down ending at my waist.
I smile at the dress, the thin strap that hands to my shouldering. I look at myself, my lip twitching upwards, taking in my appearance, I slip the dress off. Trying on the pair of white shorts, along with the blue crop top, stopping above my stomach.
I sigh, I like both. Taking the shorts and crop top off, I put on my normal clothes I wore down here. Putting them in my basket, I exit the changing room walking over to Melissa. Who is looking at a purple dress, the lining of diamonds underneath the curve of her breast.
I walk over to her, nudging her shoulders; "That would be nice, David would love it. Try it on, you'll love the dress. Positive" I reply, giving her a smile.
She nods' her head, agreeing. "Sure, sounds like a plan. I will try this dress on, thanks Gemma" She replies, smiling at me before heading towards the changing room. As I walk to the counter, I pay for the dress, shorts and crop top.
The women scanning my clothes, starring at me. Picking up the dress, she smiles. Scanning it, "The dress is beautiful, isn't it?" She ask's, putting it in the bag.
I nod my head, giving her a smile, "Yes, it is! It is a lovely dress" I complement the dress, taking my purse out, ready to pay for it. She nods her head in agreement, taking my money from my hand, she puts it in the cash machine.
Giving her one last smile, I take my bag from her hands, taking the change I walk back from the cash machine. Leaning against the wall, I wait for Melissa to come. As I continue to wait, my eyes land on Scott walking with Carli, holding hands and laughing. Her head leaning against his shoulder, milkshake in their hands.
I let out a shaky breath, before I look back up to see their lips locked together. I turn my face away in disgust, looking in every direction but theirs, I see Vicky standing there. Christian by her side, his dark brown hair is styled differently than last time I saw him, his hair is flopped down onto his face, stopping at his eyebrow, his hazel eyes is pure lust as he looks down at his wife Vicky.
She is laughing, clinging onto his arm, Vicky lets out a lawful laugh before she turns her head connecting with my eyes before she looks away. Tugging at Christians arm, towards me.
When she makes it towards me, she smiles giving me a hug. "How come your here all alone, Gemma? Where's your friend?" She questions me, raising a eye brow playfully.
I laugh a little, "Hey Vicky, Christian. My friend Melissa is in the store, shopping day today. How come your all the way to London?" I greet, asking her.
She nods her head, smiling, "Christian wanted to see the culture, as we are visiting his beloved Family. His sister Hazel doesn't like me very well, but you know. We are getting married so she will have to deal with it" She replies, looking at Christian smiling.
He nudges her, before laughing, "Yes, well she will just have to adjust to it. We will be getting married, whether they like it or not. Hazel is just stubborn, as she is seventeen. Act's much older, though Vicky" He replies, laughing lightly, "Have you been house hunting lately?. "
I shake my head, "No, not yet. I just got informed yesterday, and I have been busy lately. But I will be tomorrow, and then I will text Vicky letting her know" I reply, shrugging my shoulders.
She nods her head, "Yes, and then when you do. You'll invite us and we will drink wine or beer and talk and gossip" She replies, smiling.
Just then, as I was about to reply Melissa comes out, her eyes scanning for me. I wave towards her, she smiles her eyes flickering towards me, her eyes glancing towards Vicky and Christian. "This is Melissa, Vicky and Christian" I reply, introducing them to each other.
They greet each other, before they have a conversation, "Vicky and Christian, you should come to my party later on tonight. It is to celebrate me getting into the Publisher?" I ask them.
They look at each other, before shaking their heads, "I wish Christian and I could but we can't, his Family are taking us out for dinner, but you enjoy yourself. I am sorry, hope you two have a good night. See you soon, hope to see you at work in New York" She replies, giving me a sad smile. She embraces me in for a hug, hugging her back.
With a few seconds of hugging, I let go of her giving me a wave goodbye her and Christian walk out of my eye sight. I turn towards Melissa, her eyes burning with jealously. "Are you okay, Melissa?" I ask, scared to ask for a moment.
She sighs, but looks at me. Her mouth clenched. "Yes, I am fine. Since when were you two besties?" She ask's, raising a eye brow.
I sigh, feeling annoyed slightly. "Melissa, your my only best friend. You know that, I love you more than Vicky, your like a sister to me. You know that, since when did you get jealous?" I ask, lifting my bags up.
She scoffs, "I get jealous when my best friend, here, doesn't let me know when Vicky is coming to see her. How about that?" She questions, standing up straight. Turning slightly.
I glare at her, I am not in the mood with her childish behaviour. "Melissa your being immature, and childish right now. You know who Vicky is, she is just a friend from work. What's the problem?" I ask, "Plus, I never knew she was coming to see me, she just saw me and came over. What's the big deal?"
Melissa opens her mouth to come back with a snarky comment about Vicky and I, but soon closes it with-out a assaulting comment. I raise a eye brow, smirking. "Exactly, childish Melissa. Your acting like a spoilt little brat, okay? As much as I love you, your being a bitch right now. Talk to me, when you learn the facts right, 'kay" I reply, turning my back to her.
I walk stomping my feet in the process, I hear Melissa sigh before she comes running up to me, "Gemma, I am sorry! I didn't mean that, I just. . . . I never knew you two were so close" She replies, hanging her head down in shame.
I smirk, "I never said we were close, I just said we were friends from work. And I said, that I love you, more than Vicky. Isn't that enough?" I ask, slightly disappointed with Melissa.
She nods her head, "Yeah, I suppose. Let's get home and get ready for the party, time to boggy!" She replies, trying to make a joke about it.
I laugh, before we link arms and walk out of the mall. "Am I forgiven?" Melissa ask's.
I nod my head, laughing. "Always" I reply, nudging her slightly.
~If only tonight would be like that, something big is going to happen~
