Song Of The Chapter: Years and Years by Sarah Close(Originally by Kings)
Before I start, I wanted to Dedicate this to @Michelle Hayes. She is so nice, and such a nice person to talk to. I also just checked out a YouTube called The Corner Booth and Michelle Hayes, Jason Howell, Rita Kovach, Mary Tabor, Brittanie Charmintine and Nat BradFord :) You should check it out! :)
It has been a month now. A month since I stormed out of the bowling alley. A month since I declared my feelings towards Scott. A month since Scott said he wasn't ready to be in a relationship with me.
That night was the night I won't remember, I meet his friend Alec who told me the truth and said Scott wasn't ready for a relationship. Of course, I never believed him, and I was wrong.
I moved to my new office, and it took me two weeks to get over Scott. And the incident. After that night, he started partying more, he started sleeping with different girls. Then he started smoking, which was worse.
He thought he took it hard, well welcome to my world. It was torture, pain and hell and back.
Present Time-
My alarm buzzing on my bed stand, I groan before I then slam my head down. The sound quieting down, my eyes struggle to open, not ready to adjust to the light.
Rubbing my forehead, I then manage to open my eyes-with much struggle. Pushing the covers off my legs, I then stand up. Walking into the kitchen, I pour some coffee before I walk over to my laptop. Picking it up, I then turn it on. Pouring my coffee into a mug I then carry it over to my desk where I start writing my novel.

After an hour or two if writing some more of my new chapter, I then close my laptop before carrying my mug over to my sink. Washing it, I then pick up and I then carry it over to the cupboard.
Closing the cupboard door, I then walk upstairs before I wash my face. Patting it dry, I then apply moisturizer before I then walk back into my bedroom. Getting changed into some skinny jeans, a white and black t-shirt, before I slip on a yellow blazer.
Slipping on my heels, I then walk over to my mirror. Applying some concealer, eye-liner, mascara and some lip gloss. I smile at my reflection, I then slip on my black boots, before I then pick my bag up. After I have put my shoes on, I then pick up my hand bag, before I then pack it.
Putting my last item, my phone in the hand bag, I then close it up before I leave my bedroom. Walking down the stairs, I hear the coffee maker beeping. Signalling, that someone has made coffee. Sighing, I rub my forehead, before I then walk down the rest of the stairs.
Standing at the bottom of the stairs, I take a breath before I enter the kitchen. Turning around, I see Melissa. Her long brown hair is cascaded down freely, falling down into the locks of curls. She sighs, before she pours her coffee.
Turning around, she see's me before she gasps at the fright. "Oh my god!" She replies, her hand clutching over her heart, "You almost gave me a heart attack, Gemma!" She said to me, before taking a sip of her coffee.
Smiling at her, I let out a laugh, "Sorry, I never knew scaring my best friend would almost have an heart attack" I reply sarcastically.
She then grins ear to ear, "Now that's the smile I have wanted to see for ages, are you heading to work?" She asks', giving me a nudge.
I let out a small smile, "Thank you, I better get going before I am late for work. I will see you later" I reply, before giving her a hug.
She nods her head, "Sure and bye! See you later!" She replies before she walks away into the living room to text David. Her and David have been dating for nearly four months and I can tell that they are in love.
