Chapter Thirty-Two.

I wake up the next morning, with a pounding head, my throat dry and my lips cracked. My eye's barely opening, the feeling of sleep being stuck in my eyes. I can hear my phone vibrate, my body is awake but not my head.

Rolling over on my side, I manage to open my eyes before I then stay still for a few moments. After a few minutes, I then reached over for my phone before I pulled open a new text message before I messaged Melissa.

Rubbing my eyes, my heart pounding, my fingers about to move to type before last night memories floated back to me. My Mum going out with me, the Hotel, bumping into Scott, me admitting to my Mum I loved Scott more than Noah.

I cringe before I then type a message.

Melissa, I need your help. When can you drive to my Mum's house or the park near the house in the next three hours? I am staying at a Hotel with my Mum and things happened....I need to talk to you xo

Letting the message send, I set my phone down, before I push the covers off my legs, the cold air chipping at my legs, causing goosebumps to rise. Getting out of my bed, my feet land on the carpet, before I then head towards the bathroom.

Opening the door, I turn the light on before I glance at my mirror. I have smudged eye-liner underneath my eyes, lipstick smudged all over my chin and up towards my cheek, my cheeks are heavily red and my brown tamed hair is now sticking up in every direction.

Turning the hot water on, I then step out of my t-shirt and panties, before I then step into the shower, the water dropping town onto me, the feeling makes me instantly relax before I then enjoy my shower.

After finishing off my shower, drying my hair, applying a little concealer, mascara and chap stick, I then walk over to my suitcase. I slip on some yoga pants and a purple baggy jumper before pulling on some converses. Pulling my hair into a messy bun, I then start to pack the rest of my clothes up before I then zip it up.

My phone vibrates, which indicated that Melissa replied. Sighing, I sit down before I read the message from her. Oh god! What happened? I will start driving within the hour, meet you by the park at 1PM. Talk soon xo

Sighing in relief, I then zip my suitcase up before packing my bag. Putting my phone in the bag, I then drag the stuff along with me, and out the door. Emerging from the hotel, I meet my Mum by the parking lot before we drive home.

The drive home was an awkward silence, and my Mum barely spoke to me. I reached for the CD before blasting Rockstar by Nickelback. I start humming the words, before my Mum sighs.

I turn my attention to her, "Look Mum, I know you want to tell me something? Yell or something, but I don't like this socially awkward silence" I said to her, before glancing out the window for a brief second.

She then looks at me, "Okay Gemma, you want me to be honest with you?" She question's me, before I nod my head. She smiles at me, before continuing, "I think you don't understand what you want, you love Scott more than Noah. Yeah? Why are you even with Noah then?" She admit's before questioning me.
