Chapter Of Song: Sacrifice by Zella Day! <3

We have been driving for about three hours and it has been silent. The birds singing, my Mum's singing soothing me. She did it to me as a child.

Sighing, I turn around to face my Mum. Her eyes glance at me, before she sighs. "Gemma Hunni, you know you can tell me anything right?" She asks me.

I nod my head at her, "Why this all of sudden?" I ask, raising a eyebrow.

She sighs and looks at me for a moment before she looks back at the road. "Why do I feel like you visiting your Dad and I was about something different? Different than wanting to see my parents" She asks.

I shake my head, "Mum, can we not talk about it. I want to forget about it, if you dont mind?" I ask her, hoping she would drop it.

She shakes her head, "Gemma, I am your Mother and I will not watch my daughter be depressed because of a stupid mistake he or she did to you" She replies angrily. "So do not make me wait any longer and tell me what happened making my little girl upset?" She asks me as she continues to drive.

I sigh before I talk to her about liking Scott, me kissing him out of mistake, graduation and the party, him accusing me of being jealous, him wanting me to  forgive him,  me asking for more time.

After I finish my last sentence, my Mum turns to me shocked. "I never knew that was so hard on you. Carli sounded like a right snob and stuck up cow!" My Mum replies, sighing.

I gasp, laughing. It felt good to laugh and let it all out to someone I can trust. "She was Mum, trust me! I learned it from a hard thing" I reply to her, before leaning back in the seat.

She nods her head, "Yeah, I know Sweetie. Do you want me to stay with you tonight? I can tell your Dad that I won't be home tonight, we can have a girly night? Watch a movie, and just relax?" She suggests, looking at the road.

I sigh, but shaking my head. "Thank you for the offer Mum, but I think I will stay home and have a early night, because I am moving tomorrow. Maybe when I move in?" I ask her, feeling guilty slightly. My Mum is helping me, and I am shaking her idea off like a piece of dirt. "Maybe we can do that girly night thing tonight, Mum."

She laughs and shakes her head, "Gemma, I know you by now. You feel guilty and want me to feel special. It's fine, I understand. Just text me, we can keep in contact. I am sure, it isn't long. Does that sound like a plan?" She ask's, looking at the road.

I sigh and nod my head, "Yeah, sure Mum. Since I did feel guilty, what time will Dad and you be at my house tomorrow helping me move house?" I ask her, giving a small smile.

She lifts one of her arms and rubs circles onto her forehead, "A little before eleven o'clock, so have you packed much lately?" She ask's me, resting her arm on the window.

I glance at her then the road, "Okay, that's fine. I havn't really packed, since I have been busy. But I will be packing mostly today. Like all of it, it's quite a handful" I reply, laughing slightly.

I hear her laugh, "Yes, I know" She replies, pulling up into my drive-way I spot a figure standing by the curtain. I shift uncomfortably in my seat, before I lift my arm and pull my top away from my neck slightly. The awful feeling like something is about to happen to me.

She stares at the figure, then me. "Hunni, do you want me to come in after you?" She ask's, hesitating slightly.

I shake my head, "No, I will be fine. I will message you if something happens" I reply, taking a deep breath. I step out of the car, the wind breezing by making me more tense. The figure's eyes continue to watch me closely, I walk around to the boot opening it I take the suitcase out.

Wheeling it over to the door, I shut the car door before waving bye to my Mum. She gives me a wary smile, before she reverses and drives off to back home in Brighton. Turning around I see the figure turning around and walking to a different location in my house.

Breathing deeply, I walk towards me door, unlocking it I open the door but stay stood still. I hear a door open upstairs, and a cough. I walk into the door, closing it making a bang noise. Walking into the kitchen, and up the stairs. Creeping into the bathroom, I see the figure standing in front of me, their back to me.

Picking up the nearest thing to me, which is a bottle and a mirror. I walk closer, before running and climbing onto their back. I hear them groan, before they grab my legs and swing me onto the floor. I stare at them, the atmosphere is tense and I stare into their eyes. My breaths coming out ragged.

I gasp before lifting my knee up, hitting his stomach. His hood comes off, revealing his face. I push his chest back, before he gets pushed back into the sink. I look up to see who the person is who pushed him, I turn and see Scott standing there.

His jaw is clenched, and anger is fighting in his eyes. "Get out of this house, and never come back!" He yells at the attacker, the attacker laughs and hits my ankle with much force I end up before hit again in the stomach causing me to be pushed back onto the wall.

Scott launches for him, punching the guy repeatedly on the jaw. I cringe, before I start coughing. Blood appearing, Scott notices before he gives the guy one last punch and the guy groans before he stands up and runs out the door.

Scott kneels beside me, before picking me up in his arms. "I am sorry this happened to you, Gemma. Are you okay?" He ask's, before he moves to my bedroom. He sets me down gently, before he kneels down beside me and runs his hand across my cheek. He leans closer, before I stare at his eyes.

His brown hair is now darker, and his lips are centimetres away from mine. I lean closer, and he waists no time and smashes his lips on mine. I hesitate for a few minutes, before I kiss him back. His soft lips moving in sync with mines, my fingers meet the fabric of his top before I pull him closer.

As I was about to deepen the kiss even more, he pulls away. "I can't do this, I'm sorry I shouldn't of came here" He replies, before letting me go and was about to leave this room.

I sit up, clenching my teeth with pain. "Scott, why did you come here?" I ask him. He stops in his tracks, and he stops and turns around before he faces me.

His face is caused by shock and pain, pain that demands to be felt and he doesn't want to admit something. I get off the bed, hissing in pain. I walk over to him slowly, before I place my hand on his cheek, my heart racing. "Why did you come here?" I ask, repeating.

He sighs before his face turns away from mine.
