Y/N's POV

This can't be happening

My parents grinned at me probably thinking my state of shock was because of finally seeing my soon-to-be wife

I haven't seen her in years and now I'm marrying her. I didn't want to cause a scene and embarrass my parents in front of the cameras and the people of the kingdom so I let her grip on my hand stay

I lead us over to the table where my parents and sisters were already seated for the ceremony

This seriously can't be happening

Third Person POV

As the ceremony dragged on, the prince became more frustrated and angered

"Mother, a word please?" He whispered to the queen who nodded

The two made their way to a less crowded area and away from the cameras

"I'm not marrying her" Y/N blurted

"Excuse me?"

"I can not and will not marry that woman" he repeated pacing back and forth

The king saw this and excused himself to find out what was going on

"What's going on here?" He asked

"He is refusing to marry this girl" Y/N's mother answered

"And why is that?"

"We dated back in college and she cheated during the two years we've been together"the prince finally informed his parents

"She did what!?" The queen yelled, the Queen was very protective of her son no matter how the two often times don't see eye to eye

"Bey calm down, let's no cause a scene. Son don't get me wrong, I love you and and ald but the money we paid for all of this and the wedding to come is too much to just throw down the drain, so I'm and all I'm asking is, you marry her for the public and we sort something out at a later date" the king said trying to resolve the problem

"Dad, I. Am. Not. Marrying that woman" he prince gritted through his teeth

"What do I always tell you?"

"I'm royalty....suck it up" the prince mumbled annoyed but his parents heard

The queen was still filled with rage as she looked over at the going woman that us about to be married into her family but she knew there was nothing she could do to stop it

The three members of the royal family went back to their previous positions

Although the prince held a fake smile throughout the ceremony, his maid knew something was up

That was a thing Normani was good at, she looks and analyzes things which makes it easier for her to read people

As soon as the ceremony was over Normani walked with the prince back to his room

Normani's POV

We made it to his room and he slammed the door shut making me jump

"I'm sorry, I'm just..." he sighed and I nodded in understanding

I helped him take off his jewelry and he took off his shirt. He went over to the bed and sat at the edge of it as he rotated his neck. His muscles looked tense

"Can you uh, massage right here for me?" He asked

"I can get the masseuse for you if you'd lik-"

"I don't want a full massage. What are your hands to-" I cut him off

"Do not insult me by finish that sentence"

"What are you gonna do if I disobey?" He asked as he walked over to me. His tall figure towering over mine as I back away into the wall

"I- I don't think this is appropriate for the prince to be this close to his maid" I said and he backed away without a word

"But I will massage that area" I added as I made my way over to him

He looked at me shocked like he didn't expect me to oblige to his question

He sat down on the bed once again and I got a bottle of oil and poured a little in the palm of my hands before rubbing it into his shoulder

About a minute or two into the message I heard him moan and I paused, he seemed oblivious to the fact that he moaned during the massage

"All done" I rushed out

"Already?" He asked

Before I could answer there was a knock at the door he got up from the bed and towered over me beforr he walked away and opened the door while I acted as if I was being productive

"Hey baby"

I didn't recognize the voice so I took it that it was the future queen amd as I predicted it was her that I saw when I looked up

"You and I need to have a serious talk" the prince said sternly and I decided to give the couple the room

Y/N's POV

She entered the room and sat on my bed, the maid left the room to give us some privacy which I was thankful for, I didn't want her finding out my business

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked as soon as the door closed behind the maid

"I'm here to be your wife and the future queen of Adrian as requested" she said, she walked over to me and reached for my cheek but I pulled away and stepped back

"I swear if it was up to me, the moment I saw you I would have told the guards to lock you out of the kingdom" I said hanestly, the bitterness evident in my voice

"I know your still upset and I'm sorry, just give me another chance I promise I'll be better" she begged

"You betrayed me, you took my love for granted. You took the love I had for you and gave it to someone else and now you want me to just forgive you and marry you?" I vented.

She was my first girlfriend and I loved her very much, she meant everything to me but not anymore

"Please" she pouted with her doe eyes, that look never failed to make me cave in

I sighed and she knew she won

"Can you call back the maid, I wanna tell her about my diet and allergies so she doesn't give me the wrong meals" she said sitting on the bed

"No, she's my maid, you'll be given your own" I spoke up

"I was told you wouldn't mind sharing your maid with me"

"Whatever" I mumbled really not in the mood, I got my pager and paged the maid back to the room
