Two weeks before the wedding

Third Person POV

The two lovers have been equally miserable ever since that day. They haven't seen or heard from each other either, Maya keeps questioning Normani as to what's wrong and why she's so down but Normani knew she couldn't vent on what went down between her and the prince

Normani dreaded this day because the prince's maid has the flu and so CC appointed her back on Y/N's service for the two weeks. So here she is now packing some stuff to stay at the hotel with the groom and his buddies

"I'd be happy you if I were going to stay with a group of men for two weeks" Maya said aa she leaned against Normani's door

"Yeah well I'm not you and your not going" Normani said and flashed a fake smile

"God! I'm dying to know what the hell is going on with you" Maya answered before walking off

After packing and making sure she had everything she needed, she headed to the parking lot where she was instructed

"Normani!" She heard an unfamiliar person yell causing her to stop and look around confused

"Hey! I don't think you know me, but I'm Dinah-Jane, Y/N's bestfriend but you can call me Dinah or Finah anyone works" this tall caramel girl said as she approached her

"Uh. Hello Dinah...I'll stick to Dinah" Normani said causing the Polynesian to nod before pulling her into a hug

"You and I are gonna be best of friends" she said before pulling her into one of the SUV's

"Oh no, I'm not riding in his one" Normani objected and got out of the car backwards but bumped in a familiar firm and toned clothed body

"You can ride with us" Y/N answered

"Its fine I'll stick to the schedule" Normani said before rushing over to her ride that was behind

At the hotel, there wasn't much for Normani to do since the hotel workers had already sorted everything out. Normani was just relaxing in her room but was interrupted by a soft knock on her room door

Sighing whilst rolling her eyes, she got up and went to see who it was and to her surprise it was Y/N

"I know you probably don't want to see me right now but, I just wanted to let you know you don't have to work tonight. Take the night off, have some fun and relax" he said before walking off

Normani was happy to hear that. She took a warm relaxing bath sipping on a glass of wine as she watched a movie on the TV in the bathroom

Getting slightly bored of the hotel room, she threw on a dress before heading down to the lobby. She had a few drinks with Dinah until the tall girl drifted off to a group of men leaving Normani by herself

Y/N saw her sipping on a drink by herself in a corner and approached her. At first the two stood side by side leaning against the wall until Y/N took the cup from her and placed in on the nearest table
