Lady Amlistra brought Oralie back to her house. Lady Amlistra brought Oralie dress shopping, just as she promised. From then on, her and Lady Amlistra settled into a new lifestyle. The councillors never found out what really happened to her parents. Oralie did miss them very much but, Lady Amlistra was kind, and treated Oralie like her own daughter. The councillors never separated Lady Amlistra and Oralie. Oralie's stay with Lady Amlistra was supposed to be temporary, but ended up lasting long enough for Lady Amlistra to officially gain guardianship over Oralie. This seems like the end of the story, doesn't it? But alas, it's just getting started.
so this is the "end" of the before she becomes of a councillor section, the next part being about her becoming a councillor, then the part I'm sure most of you have been waiting for, Oralie's connection with Kenric's death.
