Crying for hours without any stop didn't do Oralie's face any good. Her eyes were puffed and red. He was gone. Burned up in the everblaze, and in a way, it was her fault. Liora had come later that night, and told her to not give into the guilt. But why did it matter? There was no point in fighting it, if there was no one worth fighting for. Almost no one. Everyone she once had was gone. She had grown terribly distant with Lady Amlistra. There was almost no one left in the world for her. And the one person who she needed to stay for didn't even know why. She was alone. Maybe she would step down. Settle in a cottage by the ocean. She had always loved the salty smell of the sea, and the way sand brushed up against her toes. But losing 2 councillors at the same time would greatly impact the elvin world. Lines of green clothed elves filled the Wanderling Woods. She wanted to let more tears out. But she wouldn't show the public how deeply this had affected her. She had to build up another wall. A wall to hide her emotions. A wall that wouldn't collapse again. A wall that would stay there until she was ready to break it down. Kenric was gone. But she had half a lifetime with him. Wasn't that enough?

-ok yay! this part is really short, but it's basically a summary of what's happened with Kenric's death and whatnot! The premise of this story is that in every 'good' person's death, Oralie is there. SO GUESS WHO'S NEXT? Forkle! (wow that was way too enthusiastic for talking about death-) but the next 1 or 2 parts will be about Forkle's death, and yeah! But after Forkle's death I'm probably going to end the story with either a little summary chapter or, Oralie finds out a way to get rid of her 'death essence'. Happy reading! <3 -mallowmellt
