The light barely showed the open window, but it was enough to wake Felix up. He inhaled deeply and opened his eyes slowly, feeling his dry eyes as he opened them. He rubbed his eyes with his hand that wasn't injured. He blinked as well and looked over to the window to see the typical cloudy and smoggy sky. He sighs and shakes his head in disappointment as he misses the morning colors of thesky and takes a morning walk before school.

He looked over to the mattress where Michi, Ryu, Ren, and Jisung were peacefully asleep. He glanced down at his hand and gave a sigh at the disgusting bloody wrap. He grabbed the bag that was next to him and opened a smaller part of the bag and took out a wrap that he always kept for emergency. He slowly unwrapped his hand and cringed at the sound and feel.

"Morning."

Felix looked up and Jisung who was sitting in front of him. "That looks...disgusting," Jisung said as he grabbed the bag to take out more things. "Encouraging," Felix said as he finally unwrapped his hand to show the bloody mess. "Your knuckles feel broken," Jisung jokes, which got an eye roll from Felix. "Fuck off," He said and Jisung snorted, taking out a towel and a water bottle that was probably nasty. They sat in silence as Jisung carefully cleaned the blood off of Felix's hand who stared out the window. "You should leave once you finish," Felix said and Jisung eyes him. "You sure you actually want to split up with your hand like this?" Jisung asks and Felix nodded his head, looking at Jisung who was slowly starting to put a fresh wrap on his hand. "Yeah," Felix answers and Jisung gives a nod.

There was movement and they looked over to see Ren waking up which also caused the twins the wake-up. Ren waddled over and moved under Jisung's arms to sit in his lap while Michi and Ryu sat in bed to wake up a bit more. Jisung looked back at Felix's hand and secured it before scooting away. "You'll be fine, right?" Jisung asks and Felix gives a hum as he crosses his legs. "Yeah, I'll be fine," Felix said and Jisung gave a slow nod. Ren got off his lap and Jisung stood up, walking over to his shoes which he had taken off for comfort while he slept, also slipping on Ren's shoes.

Michi and Ryu watched them with sadness in their eyes as they went over to the window they came through last night. "Bye-bye, Ren," Michi said as he gave a small wave, Ryu doing the same. "Bye-bye," Ren said as he waved back before letting Jisung pick him up. "See you in the middle," Jisung said as he pulled on his scarf and fixed his own bag. Felix gave a wave as he stood up to sit next to Michi and Ryu who got very excited. Jisung left the small room and went in the direction that he had said he was going to go last night.

"Mommy," Michi said and Felix hums as he lays down. "Were you always scary to uncle squirrel?" Ryu asks and Felix chuckles at the nickname. "No," He answers. "I was really nice and helpful to people, but things changed." Michi and Ryu looked at each other before hugging their mommy tightly who chuckled, holding back the tears that were threatening to fall for some reason.

They laid for several minutes before Michi asked. "Mommy," He mumbles, and Felix hums. "Did you ever have...um what's the word, Ryu?" Michi asks as he looks at his brother who looked at him. "I don't know," Ryu said and Felix tried to understand the question which he did after a few seconds. "Mhm, why are you so curious?" Felix asks as he sits up, holding the two who gave soft giggles. "You always look sad," Ryu said as he got a pout on his lips with his brother following after a few seconds. Felix tilted his head in confusion at their words. "Sad? What do you mean by sad?" He asks. "You never have smile on face," Ryu said and missed a couple of words in his sentence that Felix was going to help with later. He, Felix, of course, noticed that he had never smiled, but he didn't pay much attention to the emotion present on his face. "I'm not sad," He answered and placed gentle kisses on their heads, a bit uncomfortable with the affection towards the two, "it's just how I always look."

The two toddlers looked at each other then back at Felix who had a convincing smile on his face or tried to at least. "Okay, mommy," Ryu said as he crawled over and flopped into Felix's lap. "We believe you," Michi followed the action as he spoke the sentence. Felix looked down at the two with a genuine smile that never showed up. He ruffled their hair and looked outside, sighing. "I'm going to go out to see if I can find any close convenient stores for food, I need you two to stay here and hide somewhere far in the room."

The two looked up at Felix and gave nods. "Yes, mommy," They said in unison and Felix gave a small smile. "Good boys."
