Jeongin dropped off Ryu and Michi who instantly ran over to Felix, after taking off their shoes, to explain how exciting their day was and Felix listened fully instead of half-listening like he would've done. Changbin was also present in the room, but he was more focused on the show that was on than the kids who were rambling on. Felix and Changbin weren't talking before the two came in as they were both invested in the show Changbin had put on which neither of the two noticed.

Suddenly, they both stopped talking which got Changbin's attention and he saw Felix with Michi on one side of him and Ryu on the other side of him. "Is that normal?" Changbin asked and Felix gave a slow head shake and checked to see if they were awake but they were both asleep. Felix looked around and grabbed his bag that was on the side of the couch. He opened it and took out the two cleaned blankets and carefully placed them over the twins before turning his attention back to the TV as if nothing happened and as if it was natural.

Changbin stared at him for a bit before he slowly turned back to look at the TV. They watched another episode before Changbin glanced over to the clock that he had on the wall. "I'm going to make dinner," Changbin said and Felix looked at him, giving a nod. "Are they allergic to anything?" Changbin asks and Felix shook his head. "No...I don't think so at least," Felix said and looked at the two who were peacefully asleep.

Changbin gave a nod before walking over to the kitchen to start making something. Felix patted the twin's head before looking around the room to observe a room for once.

The decorations were simple, but they were comforting as well. The walls were painted a solid grey color which gave the accessories the ability to pop. The couch, which Felix and the twins were sitting on, was a soft cream color and the pillows that were on the couch for more support were a slightly lighter shade of cream and had designs on them that didn't feel rough when you placed your hand on it or hugged it. The chair that Changbin was sitting in earlier was a set with a similar chair. The chair matched the color of the couch along with the throw pillows. Between the two chairs was an end table that was a dark brown color with a lamp with a white lamp base and the cover was also white. There was a book that seemed to be halfway read on the side Changbin was sitting on which got Felix curious, but he pushed it aside.

In front of Felix was a glass coffee table with an empty vase and Felix was a bit sad at the absence of flowers in the vase. Different remotes were together on top of a larger book that seemed to be there for decoration. In front of the coffee table was a fireplace that seemed to not have been used in months or weeks. On the mantle of the fireplace were different pictures and succulents and a joke he and Jisung said through high school started popping up in his head which made a smile come to his face. The TV was mounted to the wall and two paintings were parallel to each other on either side of the TV.

He snapped out of his thoughts and slowly looked back at the TV as he saw he was still on the same episode when he zoned out. He relaxed as he kept a protective hand on both of the twins as he watched the show while Changbin made dinner.

Felix could barely close his eyes without having something pop up in his brain about anything that had gone on in the few months of the wasteland world. He opened his eyes for what felt like the millionth time and he gave a huff, sitting up and rubbing his face.

He got out of bed and looked at the time. "Great, feels just like high school," he mutters as the sleeping problems he had gotten rid of in ninth grade were slowly coming back. He exited his room quietly and closed the door. He turned around and saw Changbin's room was wide open and showed the empty room. He assumed the male slept with his door open and was in the restroom, but when he turned to walk down the hall, he spotted the male at the dining room table.

Felix slowly walked down the hallway to get to the kitchen where he was going to make himself a drink to help him fall asleep. As he got closer, his footsteps caught the attention of Changbin who turned his head, Felix stopping at the sudden look. Although it was dark, Felix could make out that the male didn't have anything covering his left eye like he usually did. "Hi," Felix managed out which got him moving again and it also snapped Changbin out of whatever state he was in. "Hi," he said and watched him as he walked fully into the kitchen. "Shouldn't you be asleep?" Changbin asks and he didn't mean for it to come out harsh, but that was how his tone adapted over the few months.

"Mhm...could be, should be," Felix answers and turns on a small light that was over a kettle. "Do you want tea?" Felix asks as he glances over to Changbin who was looking at him. "...what kind?" Changbin asks as he was a bit curious as to what tea the male was going to make. "Chamomile tea, it helps with sleep and anxiety," Felix answers. "...sure," Changbin said. "I'll give you a small cup before I give you a bigger size," Felix said and started to make it after getting a nod from Changbin.

Felix was trying to think of questions to ask Changbin so it wouldn't be awkward every day, or that's what he thought. He kept glancing over to Changbin who was still looking at him and Felix didn't know if it was because he was tired or if it was because he was just observing him. Suddenly, Changbin spoke up. "Aren't you cold?" He asks and Felix relaxed as they could have at least a small conversation. "No, I don't usually get that cold," Felix answered even though it was a lie, he got cold easily but he didn't want to wear sweatpants since he would get hot when he's sleeping. "What about you? Aren't you cold?" Felix asks as he noticed that Changbin had a tank top on, but he also had sweatpants on. "Nah," Changbin answers and Felix gives a hum, trying to think of small conversation starters. "What were you going to do if this...thing didn't happen," Felix said as he grabbed a small cup.

Changbin went silent as he thought of his answer. "Military," He answers and Felix gave a hum in response. "Really? Why?" Felix asks. "Always wanted to and my dad and grandpa were in it as well," Changbin answers, and Felix looked at him with a small smile. "Cool," He answers and walked over with the small cup. "Try it," He said and walked back over to pour himself a drink.

Changbin picked up the small glass and took a sip; exhaling slowly as a smile grew on his lips. Even though Felix had only been there a couple of days, he seemed to know what he was doing and could make anything. Changbin drank the rest and looked over to where Felix was who was holding the mug with both hands and staring blankly at the cabinets. Changbin tilted his head a bit at the male before standing up slowly and the chair moving caught Felix's attention. "Do you like it?" Felix asks and Changbin gives a nod which results in a smile on Felix's lips.

Felix placed his mug down gently and grabbed another one, pouring the rest into the cup, and walked over to hand it to Changbin; who took it with a smile and a head nod. "It's good," Changbin said as he took a sip. Felix hummed in response and walked back over to drink his tea, spacing out again along with Changbin who had sat back down after putting the small cup in the sink.

Felix snapped out of his thoughts and went to go sit down at the table with Changbin who looked at him. "Anything else you want to talk about?" Felix asks and notices that they both easily got along with everything that they did from hobbies that they had before the disaster and their taste in music along with fashion.
