Everyone was outside at the makeshift park that was in the village. Jeongin wanted to get together a few days later, but outside so no arguments were going to happen. Everyone in the village seemed to know about the growing relationships, but nobody minded; some were glad that some people could be controlled now.

Felix was talking with Jisung and Seungmin while Changbin's head was on his lap, the male taking a small nap. Seungmin stopped what he was saying and looked at Changbin who was sound asleep. "Glad to see you're taking care of him," Seungmin said as he looked at Felix who's eyebrows furrow. "What do you mean?" Felix asks. "His bitchyness has calmed down and he's more caring than normal," Seungmin explained as he lifted his hand up to allow Hyunjin to lay down. "Yeah," Hyunjin agreed, "most of the time when he hurts me in training, he would walk away and do something else while I got patched up. He never asked if I was fine or okay, but he recently started caring more." Felix blinked at their words. "Really?" Felix said and he looked at Changbin. Seungmin and Hyunjin hummed. "It's mostly because of how he was treated at school and by his grandparents."

Felix's heart pinched at their words. "Oh..." He said as he looked at Changbin, gently placing a hand on his cheek and rubbing it. "Love and affection can change people," Seungmin said, eyeing Minho and Jisung who were playing around. "Another example, Minho," Hyunjin said and jerked his head towards the male who was hugging Jisung's waist as he laid down. "Never got any love and after a week or two with Jisung and he's already happier." Felix nodded his head in agreement at their words. He also became happier after getting people, besides his Jisung, to care about him. He moved his hand from Changbin's face to his hair, running his fingers through it as he stared at the blanket they were sitting on.

He would've never had thought that this thought would cross his mind, but he was happy that the situation they were in happened. He had plans of ending his life a day prior to the world ending because of how his father had treated him. He never got the chance though as the two robots that were in his house, due to his father, tried to kill him first. He would've accepted fate if a flying hatred that he had against the creations wasn't present.

"Lix, you good?" Seungmin called, which got a slow hum from Felix. He nodded his head and lifted his head as his eyes settled on Michi and Ryu; who were being chased by Sora. He smiled softly at the scene and continued to watch them.

A few moments passed and he felt Changbin shifting around. He looked down to see Changbin opening his eyes. "My eye is starting to sting," Changbin complained and Felix frowned. "I have eye drops," Seugmin said as he dug through his bags. "My eyes get dry a lot." Felix took it with a smile and turned back to Changbin who was smiling. Felix held Changbin's blurred eye open and did the three drops, Changbin groaning and closing his eyes afterward. He handed it back to Seungmin who took it and dropped it back into his bag.

Felix looked back at Changbin and patted his stomach, getting a small chuckle from Changbin. Felix stared at the male for a bit before looking up when his name was called. "Mommy!" Michi cried as he ran over. "What's wrong?" Felix asks as Michi crawls into his lap, being mindful of Changbin's head. "Ryu pushed me," Michi said as he sniffled. Changbin opened his clear eye at Michi's words. "Ryu!" He called and the toddler came running over. "I-I didn't mean to!" Ryu said as he watched Changbin sit up and give him an unamused look. "Why did you push him in the first place?" Changbin asks. "I-I don't know," Ryu said and Felix looked at him. "You're sitting out until I say you're allowed to go play again," Changbin said and Felix smiled at the fatherly words he was hearing.

Ryu frowns and looks at the ground. "Sit," He instructed and Ryu followed the order. Felix comforted Michi until the toddler was better and he allowed him to go back to playing. Felix looked at Ryu who was sitting quietly next to Changbin who was watching Michi.

"A big happy family," Seungmin said with a chuckle, running his fingers through Hyunjin's hair who hummed. "Even in a fucked up world," Hyunjin said, "happiness is still possible."

Ryu was sent to his room when they got home. "Aren't you being too harsh?" Felix asks as he pulls Changbin towards the kitchen. "Maybe," Changbin said and Felix let go of his hand, glancing at the time. Felix spaced out as he stared at the time. "You're thinking," Changbin said as he walked over. Felix pulled himself back to reality as he looked at Changbin. He hummed slowly as Changbin gently kissed him. "What're you thinking about?" Changbin asks as he gently pushes him against the counter. "I don't know," Felix said, "a lot."

Changbin nodded his head in understanding. "I can tell," He said and kissed him again, Felix smiling and wrapping his arms around his neck. Changbin kept the kiss slow as he moved his hands under the shirt Felix was wearing, feeling the medical wrap that was around Felix's waist. Felix moved one of his hands to run through Changbin's hair while his other hand stayed on the base of Changbin's neck. The kiss stayed slow and passionate for a few minutes until Felix pulled away to breathe. Their breaths were slow as they held each other.

Felix opened his eyes and smiled, bringing Changbin into a hug. "Why the sudden hug?" Changbin asks in a gentle voice. "Just...wanted to hug you," Felix whispers as he tightens his arm around Changbin who smiles against his neck. "Everything okay?" Changbin asks. "Yeah," Felix said as he tried to force his voice to not crack. Changbin didn't believe it, but he didn't force him to tell him anything.

Felix closed his eyes as the sound of the light tap of rain started to make itself present. Changbin's arms tightened around his waist, not too tight to where it would hurt Felix, but tight enough to show Felix he was safe. Felix smiles and hides his face in Changbin's neck, feeling his eyes get teary. "You're safe, baby," Changbin whispers as he rubbed his lower back as he felt the tears from Felix dropping onto his neck, "I'll protect you, it's okay."
