Match 1:
Naka clicked out his shoulder as he walked out. Shinso strolled out from the other side while Present Mic screamed out the introductions. "To start off the battle royal we have the exploding clone army, 1A's Nakashima Hatsuharu! Vs, gen ed's Hitoshi Shinso, who hasn't really done anything noteworthy yet! Start!"
Naka started walking forward as Shinso spoke. "This thing is about spirit and whatnot, right? Don't you think it was foolish for him to drop out?"
Growling, Naka opened his mouth, letting out his clones. "How dare you-" he didn't finish his sentence when he suddenly stopped, frozen to the floor. His clones looked confused as they waved their hands in front of his face.
"Good, now be a good hero and turn around and walk out of bounds," Shinso ordered. Naka turned around, his eyes lifeless as he stepped forward.
"Hey! Main! What are you doing?! Hey! Don't ignore me!" With a growl, the clone grabbed onto Naka, exploding and snapping Naka out of his shocked state.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! That hurt!" Naka jumped up, hitting the flames on his shirt. "Alright, you want to play dirty, I'll play dirty. Let me just throw myself into the equation!" Naka grabbed onto his clone, launching him into the sky.
The clone screamed excitedly- not unlike the scream you would hear at a theme park- spring gracefully before splatting into the ground.
Shinso was obviously confused as he looked over the clone.
"Bad choice eyebags," Naka stated as he blew up the clone. Shinso went flying, hitting against the back wall. He groaned, leaning forward and collapsing on the floor.
"Hatsuharu wins the first match!" The crowd went wild at Present Mic's announcement. Naka beamed in the praise as he walked off.

Match 2:
Uzu leaned over the railing as he watched Hatsume and Aoyama walk on the stage. Whoever won this match will take on Naka. Aoyama wore weird devices over his body that Hatsume had given him. After Midnight allowed Aoyama to continue, a long and tedious battle started.
In the end, Hatsume walked out of bounds but Aoyama didn't look too surprised- he even held up his thumb in... gratitude?
"You think he struck a deal with Hatsume to stop him fighting," Akiko pounded out loud.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he did," Uzu answered as Akiko jumped up.
"I said that out loud..."

Match 3:
Bakugo cracked his knuckles as he glared at Ibara. This was going to be a very quick match. After Ibara had corrected Present Mic on his introduction of her, the match started.
Ibara didn't get a chance to defend herself as Bakugo blasted across the field and threw her out of bounds.
Akiko gulped. She hated fire and loud noises, Bakugo was the worst combination of them both. She was half tempted to throw the match with Uraraka but then she remembered the two idiots she was babysitting. "Fuck them, they ain't winning without a fight."

Match 4:
Akiko took a deep breath as she walked onto the stage. Present Mic was being particularly biased but it was all okay. He didn't decide the winner/
"Start!"
Akiko charged forward as Uraraka dashed towards the middle. Akiko smirked as her vines reached out. Uraraka dodged to the side, Akiko's vines digging into the ground instead. Akiko didn't even bat an eyelid as she used it to propel herself forward. Her vines hit against the ground again as she landed.
Uraraka focused her eyes when the ground exploded from beneath her. Uraraka was thrown to the side as the vines grew above her. Letting go of the vines, Akiko shook her hands- trying to get back any sense of feeling. Akiko knew her plan. Uraraka could only dodge for so long and since the area became more cluttered it became harder and harder. By digging the vines deep inside the Earth, Uraraka couldn't use them either.
Just a few more!
"Release!"
Akiko froze as she looked up. Uraraka knew she couldn't use the vines so she used the rocks that were churned up by Akiko's vines. She dashed forward, reaching out with her hand. She didn't see the unreadable expression on Akiko's face as Akiko raised her hands and hit every single rock away.
The rocks hit the ground unpredictably, forcing Uraraka to dodge. She didn't see Akiko as the vine based girl pushed her out of bounds.
"Ueda wins!"

Match 5:
Todoroki walked forward with a cold expression on his face. Somehow he looked even angrier than usual. The start had barely begun when Mina was frozen, suspended in the air. Todoroki sighed as he apologised. He melted out Mina while the crowd muttered to themselves.

Match 6:
Midoriya looked nervous as he walked out. Kaminari swaggered forward with a confident gleam in his eyes. When the buzzer went off, Kaminari covered the stage in electricity. Midoriya jumped back, barely avoiding the attack.
He waved his arms around, stopping himself from falling out of the boundary. With Kaminari lacking any brain cells, Midoriya won the match.

Match 7:
Naka leaned over the railing as Kirishima walked out. Akiko couldn't help but see a duplicate of Kirishima walking out the other side which was confusing. And the match didn't even end!
Kirishima and Tetsutetsu were evenly matched. Eventually, they both fell to the ground and the match was called a draw, only to be decided later with an arm wrestle.

Match 8:
Akiko narrowed her eyes as Uzu walked out. If Uzu didn't fight properly, she would not be pleased.
When the buzzer went off, Yaoyorozu pulled out a spear as Uzu charged forward. Yaoyorozu ducked under Uzu's attack as she swiped at his foot. Uzu stretched his legs back, avoiding the attack.
Uzu grabbed Yaoyorozu, throwing her out of bounds. Yaoyorozu looked around in a daze, a confused expression on her face. She almost looked puzzled by the fact she lost the fight as Present Mic announced Uzu's win.
Akiko nodded proudly. Now they had all gotten to the next round, she could relax. They didn't need to get first place, they just needed to last at least one fight.
As Kirishima''s win was announced, Naka prepared for the next match.
