Uzu groaned, rolling over and huffing. The sun hadn’t even risen yet and he was still unable to stay in bed. Cursing Hawks, Uzu stood up and walked away.
He had to skid to a halt when he almost walked into Aizawa. He blinked in shock, an awkward pause stretching out between them. “Morning?”
“OH great, there’s two of you. Go outside and wait.” Aizawa pushed past Uzu, leaving him confused.
The second he stepped outside, he spotted Akiko. Akiko pulled her legs to her chest, laying her head on top of her knees. “Morning Uzu.”
“Morning. You not training?”
“Aizawa told me off and took my glaive.”
Uzu let out a loud laugh as Akiko threw a pebble at his head.
“Don’t laugh!”
“Even Aizawa thinks you train too hard! Nice to know we’re not the only ones.”
“Oh shut up! Besides, what are you doing up?! I thought you worshipped your room.”
“Eh, blame the bird.”
“Nah, but I’ll thank him.”
“You guys are too loud,” Kaminari complained, making Akiko chuckle.
“And you’re too quiet.”
Aizawa sighed in annoyance. “That’s enough. Follow me.” Aizawa started to walk into the forest. Akiko cracked out her joints before jumping up and following Aizawa. He started lecturing them on their improvement, leading them to a clearing. He threw a ball at Bakugo, using him as a demonstration.
While they had improved mentally, their Quirks hadn’t changed at all. And so, the training camp began.

Naka screamed as he held out his hands. He tried, he really did but he couldn’t quite make it work. “Am I thinking about this wrong?” Naka tapped his chin, his eyes clouded in confusion.
“Yes!”
Naka growled, his eyes twitching. “I’m not talking to you, Uzu.”
Uzu stood a little to the side, his limbs tangled in an infinitely growing mess. “You’re thinking too much about the body. You said your clones were parts of you so make the personality bigger to make the clone bigger.”
Pausing Naka sighed. “Fine but don’t assume that because I’m taking your advice, I’ve forgiven you.”
“Don’t assume that if you keep saying that I’ll suddenly understand!” Uzu huffed before his eyes widened in pain, he doubled over in a silent scream. “Hand cramp. Hand camp. Hand camp!”
Naka took a deep breath, closing his eyes. He clearly envisioned the feisty clone. He let the emotions spread across his body, filling his veins. Letting the breath leave, smoke tumbling out his mouth and swirling on the forest floor.
It rose higher and higher, looking like a beacon to a fire.
Part of Naka didn’t want to open his eyes, he didn’t want to fail yet again but as he felt someone’s breath blow at his hair, he braved it.
The clone towered over him- even in its knelt down position large orbs the size of his head staring at him.
“I did it? I did it!” Naka jumped in joy, pumping his hand in the air and accidentally hitting the clone. It stumbled back, losing its footing on the uneven ground and falling over. “I should have predicted this.”
Naka only sighed as the clone exploded and he was sent soaring through the sky. The ground rumbled, throwing most of the others off their feet.
Akiko raised her eyebrow as Naka slammed into her vines, covered in soot. “You doing alright up there?”
