Aizawa was at the front yet again, he was lecturing the class on their performance from yesterday. Apparently, one kid destroyed the whole building. “Hatsuharu, you should stay focused more when you’re fighting, you get too distracted too easily. Kamishiro, you need to be more careful when fighting people, you can’t rely on Ueda being able to save everyone you throw out a window.” Aizawa finished his report before turning to look at the heroes. “Today you’ll be choosing your class rep.”
And let the chaos begin.
Naturally, everyone wanted to be the class rep, well everyone but Uzu and Akiko who were happy letting everyone else take on the responsibility. Aizawa gave up controlling the class and went for a nap in the corner.
It was Iida who chose to run a voting system to decide the class rep. Yaoyorozu gained three votes while Midoriya gained four. Everyone else either had one vote or no votes which made Midoriya the rep and Yaoyorozu the vice rep.
Naka looked at Akiko and Uzu in betrayal. “You didn’t vote for me!” He knew from the results that neither voted for themselves meaning they voted for someone else and as Naka only gained one vote, it was not him.
“Nope,” Uzu stated bluntly.
“Considering the fact that you avoid my training normally, why would I actually give you an excuse to get out of it?” Akiko pulled out her phone to check the notifications before turning it off once again.
Naka looked disappointed but at least he understood where Akiko was coming from.
“Hey Nakabro, want to come and eat with us?!” Naka was instantly cheered up as he followed behind Kirishima, bidding a quick goodbye to his friends.
“Simp!” Uzu smirked as Naka ignored him. He turned around, spotting Yaoyorozu and Jiro. “I’m going to talk to other people, bye.” Uzu walked off, congratulating Yaoyorozu on her achievement.
“Right… another lunch inside the world that lives in my brain.” Akiko sat down with her food, staring off into the distance and making a few others uncomfortable.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
You would think that a school of heroes would react calmly to an emergency.
You would think wrong.
Chaos ensued, spreading through the ranks like a wildfire. People pushed each other out of the way to escape.
Akiko was covering her ear, trying not to panic with the loud noise while Naka had lost all control over his Quirk.
Uzu was fairing the best, dangling above everyone with claws like nails dug into the ceiling. Don’t ask how he got up there, all that was important was that he was stuck. At least he wasn’t getting trampled.
From his higher point of view, Uzu had a clear line of sight to the intruders. ...They were the press. “Akiko!” Uzu reached out his tail to force Akiko’s hands away from her head. “It’s just the press!”
Despite only catching half of that, Akiko got what he meant. Using her headphones, she played some music to deafen out the screams. She ignored the shaking as she grabbed Iida. “It’s the press,” she relayed.
Iida’s eyes widened in understanding. “Can you get me up there?” He pointed to a familiar sign as Akiko nodded.
“Should be possible,” she said before smearing his sleeve in a familiar yellow berry. “Uzu!”
“Give way!” Uzu hit Iida across the room and onto the sign.
He reached out to grasp the piping as he stood akin to the man on the exit sign. “Everyone calm down! It is just the press! Continue in an orderly fashion! You are in no danger!”
Fortunately, the students did listen to him. Unfortunately, we now have two students stuck to the ceiling with no way down.
“Just let go,” Akiko ordered Uzu, who was refusing to cooperate.
“No!”
“Uzu! I’ll catch you so just let go!”
“Never! I’m going to live up here now! I am one with the ceiling!”
“Uzu! Just come down!”
Boom!
The Earth rumbled underneath them making the ceiling crumble and Uzu fell to the floor.
Akiko let out a yelp as she jumped forward to catch him, stopping him from breaking his neck or other bones. “What was that?”
“Let’s find out!” Uzu swiftly got up and walked outside.
Naka stood with Tsu and Uraraka all staring up at a large cloud of smoke and ash floating in the sky.
“What did you do?!” Akiko looked at her friend in complete disbelief. The school was being broken into and he was blowing things up!
“Nothing.” Naka spun around and gave his signature ‘I totally did nothing wrong’ look while Uzu burst out laughing.
Akiko was not assumed. “Sometimes I can’t believe I am friends with you.”
“Don’t be so mean Aki,” Uzu scolded only to rescue a withering look.
“Let's just go back to class,” Akiko ordered, dragging both heroes behind her.
~What had happened~
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Naka jumped as he let out a totally manly squeak. In his panic, he activated his Quirk and made a series of clones.
“Oh no, Akiko’s going to kill me,” Naka said in fear.
“Rather you than me,” One of the clones said with a smirk. “I’ll be dead by that point anyway.”
“You’re not helping.”
“Nakabro… bros? What are you doing?” Kirishima looked at Naka, his red eyes full of worry.
“Um- don’t worry about me. I’ll just deal with these people, you go on ahead.” Naka jumped up, spotting two people who could help. “Hey, could you give me a hand?”
And so started Naka, Tsu and Uraraka’s mission to round up the clones who weren’t helping one bit.
There was one who wouldn’t stay still and would run about like an excited puppy while there was this other that was passively aggressively standing in different increasingly impossible spots knocking things off like a cat. There was one who was shouting every swear word in the four languages Naka has had to learn since birth- the majority of which came from Latin but that is a different story completely- and there was one who had no attention span whatsoever and kept walking off.
Who knew they had personalities?!
“Why are they not listening to you?” Uraraka was breathing harshly with Tsu by her side.
“Why do you think I have a limit? The more there are, the less control I have.”
Tsu looked around, spotting one of the clones who raised his eyebrow at her stare as if to say, ‘what are you looking at.’ “The sassier they get.”
“Come on,” Naka stood up before charging after a different clone.
Once all the clones were gathered outside, Uraraka started levitating them into the sky.
Tsu launched the last clone- one that had been particularly annoying- at the others causing them all to blow up together.
“What did you do?!”
Safe to say, the next day, both Uzu and Naka had double the training.
