Naka’s mind was running wildly. Uzu didn’t joke around with the warning systems, none of them did, Akiko would kill them if they did. That meant Uzu was in trouble! Uzu could be getting attacked! Uzu could be facing off against a number of villains and none of them would know. If Uzu was being attacked that meant Kirishima was too.

Naka was vaguely aware of Bakugo screaming behind him. Bakugo was not his priority right now. Kirishima was.

“Fuck!”

The loud explosion caused Naka to stop, glancing back. Bakugo was sparking up, a metal pole in front of him that appeared from nowhere. He was spewing every curse word in his dialect, a clean-cut travelling down his arm.

As Bakugo dodged more attacks, Naka finally noticed the villain. They held himself in the air with the metal poles- that went into their mouth. They were wrapped in a restraining jacket that made Naka think they had broken out of a psychiatric ward and made it impossible to work out their gender.

Shifting his eyes between Bakugo and Uzu’s distress signal, Naka made his choice. He needed to help Bakugo first. Kirishima should have Vlad and Aizawa, Bakugo had no one. Bakugo needed him. This was the second mistake.

“Come give us a hand!” Naka unlocked his jaw, letting the clones form around him.

Cannon fodder was charging forward instantly, ducking under the attack and jumping up to meet the villain in a loud explosion.

The energetic clone dashed and weaved through the forest. He grabbed Bakugo, dragging him away from the danger. The angry clone and the sassy clone knelt at Naka’s side as they took in the villain. Whoever this was, they were strong. If they assume the villain’s teeth are infinite it makes breaking them redundant. However, getting the teeth stuck places would work. Though that posed the question, how could they get the teeth stuck?

Looking over his shoulder, Naka smirked. “I have a plan!”

“And we’re dead,” sassy clone drawled as Naka hit him, causing him to blow up.

Naka blinked, brushing off the ash. “That didn’t happen.”

The clones shared a look as Naka got up. He did realise his clones don’t usually blow up when he touches them? No? Right, moving on.

~~~
Uzu gasped as he stared at the villain. He was covered in scars that turned his skin purple. Silver rings kept the skin together and added to his edgy look.
Aizawa cursed as his scarf whipped around him. “Get back inside,” he ordered, throwing his arm back as Uzu stumbled his feet.
“Wait, no!” Uzu looked between the villain and his teacher. He had to help!
“Just go!” Aizawa couldn’t let Uzu get in the way. None of his students would be hurt on this night.
He charged forward deflecting the flames as he grabbed the villain pinning him to the ground. “Tell me why you are looking for Uzu!” Aizawa pulled the villain up to glare at him.
The villain only laughed. “Guess this didn’t last long. See you soon, Eraserhead, Uzu.” The villain’s body disintegrated under him, melting into the ground.
Uzu stared at where the villain had been, a sense of dread in his views.
Boom.
Looking up, Uzu knew something wasn’t right. Akiko never used her distress signal. “Aizawa, there are other villains!”
Aizawa tutted, jumping up. “Stay here.” He rushed off through the trees. Uzu blinked.
“Not a fucking chance!” Running towards that signal was the worst mistake Uzu could have made and the final one that sealed the next series of events.
~~
Akiko gripped her arm, a shocked expression on her face.
Tetsutetsu and Kendo stopped dead in their tracks as they came face to face with the villain. Tetsutetsu rushed to Akiko’s side, a worried expression on his face.
“Wait! Tetsutetsu, don’t move!” Kendo's warning didn’t reach him in time when the bullet cracked through his mask.
Tetsutetsu held in his breath rushing forward to attack the villain when more gunfire rained down on him.
The villain was laughing at them. The smug idiot was starting to get on Akiko’s nerves as the villain sensed Kendo’s presence, shooting at her.
Jumping in the way, Tetsutetsu blocked the attack. His vision started to spin, black dots covering his vision.
The villain seemed to get more pissed as time went on. The lack of strategy proved little challenge for the brat. Pointing his gun at Tetsutetsu yet again, he pulled the trigger.
Akiko stretched out her finger creating a wall to protect the others. Kendo let her hands grow as she jumped over the vines and swatted away the gas. “You really are a coward for using a gun. What, you too scared to take us on hand-to-hand?!”
The villain growled, pointing the barrel directly at Kendo who pushed out her back leg. She could hear her heart pounding against her chest. Would this be the end? Closer her eyes, preparing herself.
Bang!
Kendo almost felt afraid to open her eyes. She didn’t feel in pain. Akiko’s vines pushed the gun up, causing the bullet to miss.
The villain didn’t get a chance to react as the steel fist crushed his mask and knocked him to the floor.
Tetsutetsu let out a loud sigh of relief falling back as he took in the fresh air.
Akiko smiled as she let her vines fall to the floor. “That was too close.” Slowly. She pulled her mask, laughing slightly. “You were amazing.”
Kendo and Tetsutetsu beamed at the praise as they sat up. Akiko wrapped the villain in her vines, restraining him. “Now, I really should go check on Uzu, can I trust you with this guy?”
Kendo nodded, picking the villain up. “Good luck.”
Akiko swung her stick behind her, saluting the others just like Haven would. As she turned her whole body froze. “No…”
Tetsutetsu and Kendo glanced at her, not understanding why she had stopped. The loud scream echoed in their ears as Akiko charged off.
“Midoriya!”
