Chapter 6 Frost's Bestfriend

Frost POV

Boring.

Second day palang boring na agad, nakakatamad lang (￣へ￣)

I'm here in our class waiting for our professor to come in. I hate waiting. Ayoko nang may hinihintay, tsk. There's a lot of chit-chats in our room. I hated it here, it was too loud and noisy. And girls around me secretly looking at me. Should I call it secretly? Because they're too damn obvious. It feels like I'm being raped in their narrow minds. 

By the way, do you want to know what happened on our first day?

Nothing, just also a boring day that passed by, so don't ask.

Introduce yourself in front of class, a closure to everyone and knowing them, that's what happened. 

Boring, right?

And this is the second day of class, mapapa-mura ka nalang talaga. We have to take a test in every subject, a f*cking assessment test! like wtf?! seriously? This is no fun at all!

Like I've told you before, nakakatamad mag-aral. I would rather play basketball all day than to take and answer those damn test papers!

Curse this life.

"Bro, ano na naman yung kinababad-trip mo ha?", said the person beside me.

Before I forgot. This person beside me is my best friend. He is Neon Zild Sylvez. He's the only friend that I have.

"None, I'm just thinking na what if I quit school?" I asked with a serious tone.

"Pfft. Bestfriend, di lang ikaw nakakaisip niyan, nabo-bored din ako katulad mo, nakaka-antok nga eh," he said sabay humikab na para bang he don't get enough sleep.

"Tch. Are you still doing that part-time work at the cafè?" I asked. He's rich but he has reasons 'daw' like he doesn't want to rely only on his parents, he wants to tire himself in working kaya he continues doing that part-time.

"Yes, I'm still continuing my part-time job, any problem with that?" he said with a serious-joking tone.

"I don't have any problem with that. But you have enough money from your parents to satisfy your living."

"You don't get it, do you? I do part-time in that cafè because-," he's about to explain but I interrupt him by finishing his sentence.

"Because you want to be a good son to your parents by striving to earn money by yourself, how heroic," I sarcastically said.

"Exactly, but I don't consider it a heroic act HAHAHAHA," he laughs.

Until now, I don't know kung paano ko ba siya naging kaibigan. The way he thinks is completely different from mine. Me? I enjoyed life and that's it. I have resources, why do I need to seek for another and let myself strive?

"Tch." 

He just nodded off after I talked to him. Our next professor is still nowhere to be found. I can't find distraction to ease this boring life of mine. I want to go home and sleep all day. This is not the situation I wanted, I don't have a choice but to continue schooling, nakakatamad na.
