"There is no true love without jealousy, so don't scold me for hating the men near you. I am jealous of everybody who is with you when I'm not with you."
"Practice dancing with me!" Athanasia asserts to Lucas. Her golden locks fall over her shoulder, the blush-colored ribbon tying her bangs.
"No," was Lucas' blunt answer, leaning his head against his hand. He was biting into a juicy red apple, lazing around on the floor with a pillow being his only support.
"I think I might end up dancing with my Dad at me and Arius' debutante," Athanasia tells him. 'I'm pretending like that won't happen though,' her thoughts show the truth.
"But we have a big height difference, see?" Athanasia makes a gesture with her hands, her arm not long enough to reach her father's exact height. "I'll be wearing shoes with pointy heels, so what if I step on him?"
"So, you're asking me to turn into a grown-up just so I can practice with you?" Lucas asks for confirmation, holding onto the apple core.
"Yep." Athanasia nods her head, sitting down beside the ruby-eyed Magician. "Weren't you around the same height as my Dad back then?"
Athanasia remembers how Lucas held Raven at a distance she couldn't reach.
"Even if not, you can just make yourself around that height, right?" She concludes in her request.
Lucas puts on a disgruntled expression, his brows furrowed. "Huh? Why would I..."
"Realizing he wouldn't agree, Athanasia prepared her counterattack. "Dear Lucas, most powerful being in the whole world and the prettiest boy-warlock in all the realms!"
Flowers began blooming.
"Won't you please? Hmmm?"
