"Beautiful as always! Like two Angels that descended to bless us. I'm sure Lady Diana would be proud of you two. And I hope that you both be happy till the end."

The sound of swords clashes resounded around the Palace. The knights were practicing, using real swords in the courtyard.

A certain one panted, her sword hanging dangerously at her sparring partner's neck.

"I yield!" Her partner declares, exhausted to the bone. The knight retracts her sword, lending a hand out for him to accept. "That was an amazing fight!"

The knight smiles, her blue eyes gleaming under the sun. "And you were a formidable opponent, Faris," she says in return, a gentle smile on her lips.

Just as Faris was about to grab her calloused hand, chills went up to everyone's spines at that very moment. They all halted in their actions, Faris immediately going to his feet without her help.

The knight didn't feel such chill, confused when all her comrades gathered together and went into formation. She was walking towards them, asking, "What's the matter–"

"Blessings and Glory to the Emperor of Obelia!" All the knights greet with a bow.

At that very moment, Jennette finally acknowledges the presence standing behind her. She turns her head at a frightening rate, breath hitching as she staggered back.

There stood Arius in casual articles of clothing. Not robes like his father—he would never replicate the man he abhors.

Instead, it was a loose thin white shirt, the sleeves having ruffles at the end. He wore baggy black pants, donning shoes the same shade.

"Jennette." His voice was blank, his stare nonchalant. "Am I interrupting your practice?" Arius tilts his head while asking, the movement merely making Jennette more anxious.

"N-no, your Majesty." Jennette wants to slap herself for such a falter. "We were about to get a break..." She's glad she's calmed down. "But may I query on why your Majesty is here?"
