Quite some time after Lucy's group walked away...

Taylan stared into the direction Lucy dissappeared for a while.

A witch? Lucy, was a WITCH?

How did she hide her scent? Was it a spell? A glamor? A trick?

Don't get him wrong, Taylan didn't mind what she was at all. He was just a little surprised to not have noticed it sooner. Everything about her screamed "I'm full of magic!". And he was completely deaf.

Another thing he realized, is how beautiful she was. Far more beautiful than Heather, or Sally or any other crush he's ever had. Something about her, not just her face, but her heart, her soul, was the most beautiful thing he ever knew. How stupid was he, to be in denial? To not accept that he has moved on. That Sally was never coming back. That he was, indeed, capable of loving someone other than her.
Strange, he supposed. Strange how people fall in love-

Yes, LOVE. He was ready to admit that he was in love.

Harry snapped her fingers in his face.
"Hey, Pretty. What are you looking at?"
Taylan blinked and shook his head.
"Nothing."
She rolled her eyes and turned to the Switches, "Okay, we're gonna have to break the mountain ash circle and latch onto those two immediately, like we discussed just now."
They nodded and got ready.
"On three." She said.
"One..."
The Switches lined themselves up.
"Two..."
They bent slightly.
"Three."
Harry broke the circle with a swish of her hand, and they rushed in, grabbing a limb each of both boys, and began siphoning.

The more power they absorbed, the redder, and brighter their hands would shine. Billy and Timothée grunted, and moved in discomfort, but the Switches held on firmly.

The rest of the pack stood back, and watched in amusement.

It seemed to take forever, and the boys were clearly in immense pain.
However, nobody did anything to disrupt them, nor did they see them being in any danger.
Perhaps it was that, or just that none of them cared whether the Switches were going too far.

Taylan watched, recalling how it felt when they drained him of his power. It was as if they were slowly dragging the life out of his body, leaving a cold, shriveled corpse behind.

He found it a little disturbing to relive that feeling, and turned away, ignoring the tortured noises coming from within the broken mountain ash circle.

When it was finally over, Billy and Timothée were unconscious, and the Switches, saturated with magic.
Their hands kept glowing, even after letting go.

"Wow." Vinnie stared at his hands with excitement. "I think we've got enough magic for a year!"

Talia stepped forward, "Did it work?"

Harry closed her eyes, and suddenly, every bare inch of visible skin began pulsing a soft, red glow.
It reminded Taylan of a toy that's just been fitted with new batteries.
As the glow faded, she nodded.
"We took all the magic we could find. They're completely human again."

The boys stirred awake.
Timothée curled up in a ball, and shivered. His voice trembled as he spoke, "I... I remember everything."
Billy didn't need to speak. His face said it all.

Just then, they heard screaming in the near distance. A strangled, painful sound. The hair on the back of his neck rose, as Taylan recognized the voice.
"It's Nes."

The pack headed towards the sound, which soon became drowned out by growling. Taylan feared Nes might've gotten angry for some reason, and lost control-

But then... her screams didn't sound angry. They sounded desperate.

The pack made it there a little too late.

Nes was on the ground beside Aimee, the Greendale witches stood hand in hand, and Emel... lay dead still.

But her heart was still beating.

Greg was nowhere to be seen.

Cordelia, for the first time since hearing what she did to her husband, seemed fully aware of her surroundings.
She gasped and covered her mouth with a shaky hand.

And in that moment, everything suddenly became slow motion.
