(Teen wolf)
6 November 1983, Thursday

While the students toured their first day in Mystic Falls, someone in the Hale house discovered...

Atticus hadn't been more nervous his entire life. Every time someone was around him, he felt like a lamb next to a lion, even though the alpha herself assured that she would help him keep their cousin's secret.

"Two days, Talia. Two days have passed. Something is wrong." Taylan fretted.
"Relax Taylan. She's ok." She replied calmly.
"How do you know? What if she did find Emel, but they're in danger?" He continued anxiously.
"Your pessimism won't help anything, for God's sake." Peter blurted, clearly annoyed, while doing his homework.

Atticus sat quietly on the couch with Laura in his lap. He tried to play with the baby to distract himself, but only felt worse.

"Let's look for them. Att?" Taylan suddenly turned to him.
He was startled at hearing his name, and jumped a little, with Laura.
She stared at him, bewildered, with her large doe eyes.

"Um..." He didn't know what to say. Luckily, Talia answered for him.
"No way. I let Nes go but that doesn't mean the two of you can. Besides, don't you have work?"
Taylan worked at the bowling alley, but somehow managed to 'bunk' his job quite often.

"Henry doesn't care. He's got more staff." Taylan shrugged.
"Well, Att has work."
She made eye contact with him to back her up.
"Yes. I do." He cleared his throat. "Night shift."
Atticus worked part time at the Beacon Hills hospital ER, as a student nurse. He was just a month away from graduating, and earning his certification.

"Well then I'll go myself." Taylan made his mind up.
"No, you won't." To everyone's surprise, Cordelia spoke.
It was the first time her mood seemed slightly more alive since she came back.
"Mom..." Taylan didn't argue; he didn't really know what to say.
"You heard me. Go to work. It's already midday," she glanced at her watch, then back at him, "Go before you loose your job."
He just nodded and went upstairs to change into his work clothes.

"How are you?" Talia asked her aunt, once she came to sit at the dining table.
"Better than yesterday. I don't know what Nes or Emel is up to but... at least they're bonding. Right?" She looked hopefully into the alpha's eyes.
"They are with each other. I can feel it." Talia lied fluently, controlling her heartbeat, just incase Peter or Cordelia listened.
Her aunt nodded.

Taylan swore as he rode his motorcycle to the bowling alley. He knew from the beginning Talia was lying. Just had no way to prove it.

As usual, the twins Trevor and Travis were there, and Taylan's presence was pretty much pointless. He didn't need to work anyway. The Hale's were loaded with money. The only reason any of them really had jobs was to blend in. Any except Atticus, who has always wanted to be a nurse.
His father was quite ambitious, and so was his mother, before she died. The two of them were quite well known business people.

"Hale. Decided to show up, did you?" Trevor was leaning on his twin's shoulder.
"Shut up." Taylan laughed, and joined them behind the counter.
"Where have you been?" Travis asked as he wiped the counter.
Taylan sighed. "Home. Thinking."
"About?"
"Nothing much really."
He didn't speak about family life with the twins.
"Oh really? What about that girl you told us about?" Trevor pushed.
Oddly as it was, the thought of Lucy brought colour to his cheeks.
"Who? Oh, that one." He pretended not to care. "Just a hook up. Not much to think about."
"Ok Hale. If you say so." Trevor smiled, clearly not believing it.

While placing the bowling shoes in order, Taylan started thinking about the last time he saw her.

"I could do this every morning."
He smiled against Lucy's neck.
"Until we get caught by the janitor or something." She laughed. Her pulse vibrated his lips.
Taylan left small kisses all over Lucy, and she never wanted it to end.
"I won't let them find us." He smirked.
Lucy pulled him closer than he already was.
The two of them enjoyed each other under the bleachers, never wanting to stop, always wanting more.

"We can do this every morning. But not for two weeks. Starting tomorrow." Lucy said through breaths.
Taylan suddenly stopped.
"Why?"
"The Riverdale trip. It starts tomorrow." She spoke as if it was obvious.
"Oh..." His expression dulled. They'd only made out a few times, but Taylan was starting to like spending time with the girl.
She went in for a long, but gentle kiss on the lips.
"Don't worry. I'll be back soon."
She tousled his hair.

Taylan stood still for a minute, actually feeling something.
He amazed himself by pulling her in for a tight hug.
"I'll... Miss you." He said awkwardly.
Taylan wasn't use to liking anyone other than his family. But there was something he admired about Lucy.
And he began to realise it wasn't just her looks.

Taylan glared at the bowling shoes in his hand, remembering what day it was when Lucy told him about the trip.

Monday.
He thought.
The same night Nes snuck out.

He looked up, suddenly awaken by his discovery.
His sisters weren't anywhere near each other, and Talia had been lying the whole time.
Nes was on the Riverdale trip.
