Zoe, Liam, Cain and I let out a huge sigh as we slumped onto the small couch that was situated at the back of the store. Zoe was seated next to Liam, Liam on my left and Cain on my right.
I groaned, "Bloody hell, why was it so busy today?"
Zoe shrugs, "Who knows, all I know is that I'm tired, so I'm going to go now."
Liam stands up and then helps Zoe up.
He gives Cain and I a little wave before leaving the shop with Zoe.
Cain gives me a sideways grin, "Believe it or not Thursdays aren't our busiest day."
I sigh, "Great."
There's a pause of silence before he says, "Are you okay?"
"No," I whisper still thinking about my confrontation with Tobias.
He leans in closer and drapes his arm over my shoulder, "Hey, it'll be okay."
I rest my head on his shoulder, "Yeah, I hope so."
"You know what would cheer you up?"
I look up at him, "What?"
"Let's call it a surprise," he says with a devious smile.

We stood outside my room as I fumbled my pockets for my keys.
I find the key and unlock the door.
"So when are we meeting?"
"Seven thirty and I'll pick you up."
I laugh, "Alright I'll see you soon."
He grins, "You sure will. Wear something casual by the way."
And with that he turns and leaves me to close the door.
After he leaves I look at the clock in my bedroom. It was now six thirty which means that I only have one hour to get ready. I sigh, I'm a girl. We can't get ready in two seconds.
The first thing I do is shower so I can wash my hair.
I strip off my dirty clothes and toss them into the laundry basket and step into the shower. I stand in the warm water for three minutes. I then squirted some shampoo onto my palm and gently massaged it into my head. I then washed all the shampoo off before applying conditioner. I waited another two minutes for my hair to soak up the conditioner before washing it out.
I then turned off the water and wrapped my body in a fluffy white towel as I stepped out of the shower. Working at Jo Kobe's came with benefits such as employee discounts and free things. I dried my feet before slipping them into a pair of fuzzy pink slippers.
I walked across the bedroom, towards my closet. After ten minutes of rummaging I finally decided on a long sleeved white button up shirt, black skinny 3/4 jeans, black boots and a black fedora-like hat. I slip on a cute black choker necklace that Zoe gave me and the little lock and key bestie bracelet I bought with Christina.
I add the tiniest bit of mascara onto my lashes and then I swipe some lip balm onto my lips. I then left my bedroom and walked towards the door that conjoined Peter and my room together.
I feel like I need to drop in to see him because I haven't seen him in a while now. I knock on the door and wait for him to open it. "In a minute!" I hear his reply. I lean on the wall while waiting for Peter. In exactly one minute he flings the door open.
His curly brown hair sits tousled on the top of his head. He's wearing an oversized black shirt, grey sweatpants and black slip ons. A lazy smile is plastered on his face. "Hey Tris, how's it goin?" he asks as he casually leans against the open door. "Nothing much, just wanted to drop in to check on how my best friend is doing."
"Are we even still best friends?" Peter asks. I frown and slap his shoulder, "Of course we are nimrod, we'll always be best friends." He chuckles, "I was just joking but good to know." He pauses to glance at my outfit. "So you and that guy must be getting serious." "How do you mean?" I ask. "Well for starters you agreed to go on a date with him and you've only known him for a week or so," he says.
I shrug, "I feel like he's different. But a good different." Peter grins, "I'm glad. When you get back I want you to tell me everything. Well unless you're busy with him, if you know what I mean," he says with a grin. I cringe, "Shut up. I'll see you later." "See you." He says before closing the door.
After five more minutes on the couch, I heard a knock on the door. As soon as I opened the door I was attacked by a bouquet of mixed flowers. I gasped, "Cain you didn't have to do this!" Cain smiled and gave me the flowers, "A beautiful girl needs beautiful flowers. They're hortensias by the way."
I blush as his words play over and over in my head. A beautiful girl needs beautiful flowers. I hold the flowers in one hand and grab the vase in my other. I take the vase to the sink and fill it with water before placing the flowers into it. I then set the vase back onto the table.
"So, where are we going?"
Cain smirks, "Be patient Tris, we'll be there soon enough."
He reaches out his hand and waits a second before I reach mine out and lace my fingers with his.

My phone buzzed, indicating the fact that I had received a message.
I flipped my phone over to see a text from Cain.
Taking Tris on a date. – Cain
I smirk. I knew he couldn't pass up this deal.
I knew you would. The money will be given to you tomorrow morning - C
