While Christina and I were shopping all I could think about was Tris. I know that it's not right for me to be thinking about her when Christina's my girlfriend but I can't help it. The way that creep just.. I don't trust him and I don't think that she should either.
I mean he's like a walking cliché is this guy? Tall, tan, blonde hair, green eyes, over confident. Probably an asshole too.
"Hey, when you get a phone, call me."
Then he winked at her. Yeah, no.
Tris smirks and replies, "Hmm, maybe."
I clench my fists and I can feel my jaw tighten.
Tobias Eaton are you jealous?
"Shut up," I tell the voice in my head.
A few people turned to look at me.
Did I just say that out loud?
But more importantly, am I jealous?
Christina reaches for my hand but I pull away pretending that I didn't notice.
I see her frown from the corner of her eye but all I can focus on is Tris leaving.

As soon as I got back to my place I sat down and looked at the sheets. I picked the first one off the small pile and skimmed it with my eyes.
On the top of the sheet said, WORK SCHEDULE
I smiled, relieved that this wasn't a full time job and that It was only four days a week.
I had to work from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm.
We also get paid $30 an hour which I think is quite reasonable.
Workers also get a 10% discount on all purchases. I sigh, life is great.
After maybe a week of working, I'll finally be able to buy a phone.
A soft knock on the door interrupted my thoughts.
I pushed myself off of the couch and stand up to go open the door.
When I opened my door, all I saw was Caleb, well a bit of Caleb. All I could see were the beautiful flowers in the massive bouquet he was hauling in his arms.
He stuck his head from behind the flowers, "I'm sorry for this morning," he said.
I grinned, "Come in, you idiot. Where the hell do you even get bouquets that big?"
He gives a little shrug, "I've got contacts."
I can't help but laugh at that. "Well you can consider yourself forgiven."
"Great," he replies, a smile stretching across his face.
I chewed my lip, "I don't have a vase."
Caleb held up one finger, indicating me to wait for a second.
"That's why I bought," he paused, handing me the bag that was slung over his shoulder, "This."
I pulled out what I presumed to be a vase, covered in bubble wrap and in a cardboard box.
I gasped, "You didn't have to do this!"
He smiled, "I know but I mean we only just restarted our relationship and I messed up already so I wanted to get this stuff."
