Cain and I walked in a comfortable silence as we walked to wherever we were headed to. Cain's hand felt warm against my cold one. He looked good tonight. He was wearing faded blue jeans, black high tops with electric blue laces and a dark grey shirt that hugged his muscular figure. In his other hand, he held his leather jacket. A grey knitted beanie sat atop of his messy blonde brown hair.
After several more minutes of walking we reached a restaurant called Charlie's. The name sounded familiar. That's when I realised that it was his brother's restaurant and Peter worked here. Cain opened the door of the restaurant open for me. We were then greeted by an older boy who looked exactly like Cain except for the fact that Charlie was a few inches taller and had blonde hair with bright blue eyes.
The older brother – Charlie grinned and did the whole man-shake-hug thing. He then turned and looked at me, his lips still tipped up in a smile. "And you must be Tris," he said as he stuck out his hand. "Yup, that's me," I said popping the 'p' before shaking his hand and offering a smile of my own.
Charlie then began leading us to our table which was situated near the back of the restaurant. The restaurant was a mix between fancy and casual. The walls were painted a soothing beige. One wall wasn't even a wall. The wall was filled with full length windows. Even though we were indoors I could still hear the hum of the train on the train tracks. The roof was painted black. Hanging light bulbs filled the roof, lighting it up like stars in the night sky. Each table was covered with a white table cloth. There were white plates, silverware and glass champagne glasses on each table.
"This restaurant is beautiful," I whispered as Cain's hand weaved us around the tables. "Yeah," he whispered back. "Probably the best looking one in the compound."
"And we're here," Charlie says as he shows us our table. It was a private table, separated from the others by a Japanese styled paper wall. The table was dotted with lilies and candles. Cain pulled my chair out and let me sit before pushing it in again. He then sat in his chair at the other side of the table. Charlie then handed us the menus, gave me a wink and then walked off.
"Cain.. you didn't have to... you shouldn't have... this is perfect, thank you."
Cain smiled and took my hand in his, "You deserve the world."
I looked down and blushed.

"I can't believe you actually eat!" Cain said in a shocked expression. I raised my eyebrow, "What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Cain blushed, "I didn't mean it like that. I just meant that, well you know, usually girls are all healthy conscious, I mean, I take this from experience. Erica usually never ate or only ate salads." I laugh, "Well I like to eat burgers and steaks. The only time salad is an option is if it comes with the burger or steak." Cain laughs.
"I've got to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back," Cain says.
"Sure thing. I'll be right here," I reply.
He gives me a quick grin before leaving for the bathroom.

I washed my hands with soap and water. I then held them under the hand dryer for a good minute or two. My phone vibrated in my pocket. I took out my phone and checked it for the new message. I rolled my eyes. Of course it was from Christina.
