Serafall POV

After Y/N collapsed I got into contact with Meliodas and asked him to come by and check on him. Alongside him came Ban and Merlin, as well as Y/N's Pawn, Basara Toujou. Sona also came into my room and we put a barrier up to keep anyone else out. The way I see it we need as few people here as possible. Merlin looks over the unconscious Y/N, trying to piece together what could have caused him to fall.

"Basara," she says, "do you know what Y/N has been doing since he recruited you all?" He shrugs his shoulders.

"It's just been a lot of training for him as well as the rest of us. Him being the White Dragon Emperor combined with the power he already had has made it hard to keep up with him, and from what I can tell he's been trying to improve upon his Juggernaut Drive." Merlin looks back at Y/N and sighs. 

"Well, it's only a theory, but I think I may know what's going on. It seems like the dragonification of his Sacred Gear is accelerating due to the amount that he's been using it. He's only had it for about a month, and it's catching up with him quickly. Anything that was human about him is being left behind, and the only reason his body is still the same as it is is because of his demon blood. Go put a hand on him." I do as she asks and I immediately have to pull my hand back at the immense heat. "I can look into making some sort of antidote to delay it, but it won't be permanent. I think we should take him back to the Gremory domain, that way we can keep a better eye on him."

"That's a good idea," Meliodas agrees. He looks over my way. "Listen Serafall, I know you're worried about him, but for right now, the best thing you can do is let Merlin work her magic on him. Y/N's strong, stronger than anyone else I've ever met. I'm sure he'll be fine once this all calms down."

"How long could that take though?"

"I have no idea," Merlin responds. "I'll ask the Governor-General of the Fallen Angels if he knows anything about this. He's done a ton of research on Sacred Gears, and if anyone would know what is happening to Y/N it would be him." Before they can grab Y/N a red magic circle opens up. "How? That barrier was supposed to be impenetrable." Once the light fades I see a familiar red-haired man.

"Well well," Sirzechs says, "this is where he was. Serafall, surely you have a good reason as to why Y/N is asleep in your bed." He tries to approach Y/N but Ban gets in his way.

"Slow it down Satan, you don't want to make any rash decisions right now. See, the truth is, we went to go do the grunt work that you requested of him, taking out those other old Satans, and he collapsed shortly after. We brought him here since it was the closest place and neither of us could teleport, and Serafall decided to be kind and let us put him here while we tried to figure out what was going on with him." Sirzechs clearly isn't buying the story Ban told him, even though it isn't entirely a lie.

"Is that so? From what I understand there's only one way that he's been able to do the things he has since arriving here. He's been in league with the Khaos Brigade." Meliodas' demon mark appears and he steps in front of Sirzechs.

"You better pick your next words carefully." Basara steps between them.

"Hold on you two." He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out a file of papers. "Sirzechs, you may want to look through those before continuing." He reads through each of them, and by the end, he nods and puts them away.

"I see, so I was right. While I'm unsure as to why you had those I suppose it makes sense. Kuroka traded knowledge for her freedom, most likely so she could steal her sister from my sister's peerage. Maybe he collapsed because she drugged him, it would make the most sense."

"Enough!" Everyone looks over to Merlin. She explains what's happening to Y/N the same way she did to us, and Sirzechs seems to understand. He stands next to my bed, looking at Y/N with a clear bit of irritation in his eyes.
