"What the hell is going on here?" I take Akeno and Koneko outside to try to assess the situation, and what I see causes my heart to plummet. The entire area is being razed to the ground, and judging by the different types of wings I'm seeing around me, the Three Factions came together on this mission.

"How did they know you would be gone?" Akeno asks me.

"I wish I knew, but I have no clue. We need to find out what's going on, and at the same time find out what is going on."

"Don't think too hard about it." The three of us turn around and see the remains of both Rias and Sona's peerages. "The fallen angels knew they would be attacked, so they had it set where if Azazel or my brother was killed it would alert all of the factions, and since we knew where you all were we knew that we could get here and do some damage." I look down at my clenched fist and see it shaking furiously.

"That's why the coward was so adamant about me killing him." A grin arrives on my face, but instead of one of joy, it's of pure anger. "My family, they're all dead, aren't they? I thought I was doing the right thing, but here I am, a fool who was played like one. I've been thinking all about how things would be, how my family and I would be safe from everything." I look up at the group standing in front of me, my wings spreading from my back and the Boosted Gear on my fist. "My sins strike again. I don't even feel like going into the castle and seeing my sins being shoved back into my face." Akeno and Koneko step in front of me.

"We can handle them," Koneko tells me. "I know you don't want to, but you should go check on them."

"I know you can. I'll go see if there's anyone that can be saved. If there's anyone left I'll send them your way." I turn back towards the castle and start flying.

"You know what you're about to see, why are you going?" I shake my head.

"It isn't that simple Albion. I just need to see how much I've fucked up."

"When you see it, what will you do?"

"Ascend." I land at the front gate of the castle and burst my way through. All around I see members of the factions escaping after lighting the castle ablaze, but I can't just run away from this. I burst into the first room that I can find, and what I see kills me inside. "King! Diane!" I run to the two of them and see their eyes barely open, their bodies covered in blood and bruises.

"Y/N," Diane says weakly.

"Save your breath Diane, I won't let you two die here."

"There's no helping it." I look at King. "They were too strong, and we're not the same fighters that we used to be. Please, avenge us Y/N. Avenge your family for the misdeeds of the Three Factions." They both fall unconscious and I check their heart rates, which unfortunately have stopped. I feel my mind start to slip, but I know that I need to keep going. In the hallway I see a body pierced with a spear, and as I get closer I see my brother dead on the sharp end.

"Brother, I'm sorry. I wish I could have been honest with you about what was happening here." A few feet down the corridor I see my mother on the ground dead as well, and I feel tears start falling from my eyes. I start running farther down the hallway, and I reach the conference room where I see bodies on the table, ones that belong to Merlin, Escanor, and Zeldris. I can't even form a sentence to describe how I feel, and as I move up the stairs I see my peerage strewn about on the stairs, each one seemingly having just died.

"You finally made it." The voice is clearly recognizable and I see Dad and Ban walking towards me weakly. "We've been waiting for you to get here, but we've lost a lot of people." I look to the ground.

"I'm sorry that things happened this way." Dad walks my way and puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Y/N, I know what's been going on, I have for a while. I don't blame you for doing the things you did, but I wish you would have let me help you. Ban and I are about to run out of energy, so we're going to go and take as many of these guys out that we can."
