"Marcie that's ridiculous. I'm not falling for Calum. Be real I've been out with him once." I rolled my eyes at her.

You go out with someone once and suddenly you're supposed to be in love with them. Yeah, I was warming up to Cal a bit but not to the extent to say I am falling for him.

"I've been friends with you forever Ri. I've never seen that look in your eye, but whatever." She said, twirling her ponytail around and picking up the bag of soccer balls.

I turned around to the field to see Calum already looking at me. Once he saw me looking, he made a movement with his hand to tell me to come see him. I looked around, wondering if I should start practice now or not.

"Girls could we wait a bit for practice to start?"

They all laughed and most said yes, sitting down to drink some water. I nodded and smiled then went running down the hill to the field.

"Hey what did you need?" I asked as soon as I got to him, knowing the girls would find the boys better than soccer quickly.

"Just wanted to say hi." He said, his smile slowly growing.

I felt my cheeks heat up. Just a few seconds ago I was telling Marcie and Jordan just how much I don't like Calum. Now I'm getting all flustered, what am I?

"Alright well if that's all I-"

"Let's go out again." He said all at once. I could barely understand him.

"Eh Calum, I mean I have a practice to start." I said slowly, starting to back up.

"I scared you didn't I? God I'm sorry I don't know what happens when I'm around you. I don't act myself and it's driving me nuts Ri." I was going to comment on the nickname Ri but it's grown on me.

I laughed and rested my hand on his that was laying on the fence. "I'm not here to make you feel stupid. I shouldn't have backed off, I'm sorry. But yeah, last night was fun we could do it again."

Calum's smile returned and he stood up straighter, obviously gaining his confidence back.

"Last night was fun. You didn't feel weird or anything when I uh."

"No. It was enjoyable actually." I said, not even realizing what had just came out.

My face was turning red I could already picture it. At least I wasn't alone. Calum was red to start with now he was turning even darker.

"Okay I'm just going to go back to the girls. Call me okay?" I asked, going back up the hill.

Calum laughed and waved at me from his spot on the bench, the hand I was touching now on his heart.

"Or don't call me like whichever is better for you. It's okay. I'll be right there. Right-" I pointed to the other girls. "Right there."

With that I ran up the hill to hide from the fact I actually did like Calum Hood.

Well well it has been a while hasn't it? So good to be back I've missed Riley and Calum so much omg. I'm going to try to start updating again but Highschool sucks kids don't do it. Love you guys
