"What the hell am I doing?" I challenged back.
He stood me up until 8 and he had the nerve to ask what I was doing?
"Why are you jumping behind chairs and wearing blue pajama shorts?" He asked, walking straight past me to the kitchen.
"Calum have you checked the time? It's 8 and I was ready at 7. What are you doing here now and why are you searching through my fridge?" I asked, trying to sound annoyed.
In all honestly my annoyed and mad emotions were gone and were replaced with how tired I was. I was tired of school, Calum, and a tiny part of me even thought soccer.
He continued digging in the fridge until he pulled out a bowl of grapes and he sat down at the table with them.
"I have a good explanation for that, I was actually-"
"Save it. I'm tired and would like to go to bed so if you would please put my grapes away and leave my house." I cut him off, saving the time to hear his, most likely, made up excuse.
He wasn't moving and looked like he had no plans of moving. He was staring off into space while shoving the grapes in his mouth.
I wondered what was going through his mind but instead of pondering over it, I sighed and turned to walk up the stairs to my bedroom.
"Riley don't." Calum's voice startled me, making me stop.
"I worked overtime so I had enough money to take you out for dinner and a movie okay? Happy? I said it." He said, sounding aggravated that he had to admit that.
"Why was that so hard to admit?"I asked, even more confused.
He was working so he could take me out and as much as that warmed my heart, something didn't add up. Calum Hood never does things that don't benefit him.
"I wanted it to be a surprise or something I don't know. It seems kind of lame for a guy to do something like that for a girl that doesn't even have his number."
I smirked and crossed my arms over my chest, "Hood are you trying to get my number?"
He smiled down at the grape bowl and nodded his head slowly. Something that I happened to find absolutely adorable.
"Well you're in luck because that excuse just so happens to get you a couple points that you could use to get my number if you choose."
"Yeah, yeah I'll use a point for your number." I laughed at how desperate he was acting; as if this was a big deal.
I gave him my number after teasing by giving him different numbers but finally gave in when he said he wouldn't take me to dinner and I was most definitely not passing that up.
I went back upstairs and changed back into my jeans and converse, then came back to see Calum sitting on the couch, the grapes now put away.
"You ready Hoodwink?" I asked, grabbing my purse off the rack and opening the door.
I heard him scramble up, straightening his black misfits t-shirt, and running after me.
