I made it to the office in two minutes due to the fact it was on the other side of the building.

"Mr. Reckman." I shouted as I turned the corner to get into the office.

"Why yes I- Riley, nice to see you." He replied with a warm smile.

I smiled back, even though this was no time to be smiling. The one and only Calum Hood was sitting in a chair at Mr. Rechman's desk, probably already telling him that the boys would take our place. I felt defeated already and I hadn't even tried yet.

"I heard about only one soccer team getting the opportunity to go to New York and I was wondering if I could discuss it with you."

He chuckled and patted Calum on the back, "He already told us that both teams talked it through and the boys would like to go in place of you ladies."

Calum seemed to shrink as I placed a glare at him. He knew what was coming and I couldn't wait to deliver it.

"Oh really? Cuz Calum or any of the other boys for that matter never came to us at all."

Mr. Reckman raised an eyebrow at Calum while he just sinked in his seat. "I'm very sorry about that Riley, I had no idea."

I shook my head, "no no it's fine. The boys would like to go too and both teams deserve it."

It was Mr. Reckman's time to shake his head. "We both know that can't happen."

"Well, I think the girls should go." I stated with practically no emotion in my voice.

Calum's head shot up quickly, "I think the boys should go."

At the same time both Calum and I started blurting out reasons why our teams should go when Reckman silenced us. "Figure this out in whatever way you want. I don't want to be apart of this decision."

With that, he got up and left the office. Some principal. We both walked out of the office sharing no words. The boys team were all standing on the right and the girls were on the left.

"A match." Calum said quietly. I turned to face him in confusion.

"You guys will have to play us and whoever wins, goes to New York."

"That's the dumbest thing I've heard Calum." I said, laughing at the thought that he would win against us if we did play them.

"Why would you think that? Because we obviously would win? " He said sarcastically, high fiving someone.

"You think you're better than us?" I scoffed at him. Who did he even think he was?

"I don't think, I know doll." He responded, that smirk growing.

"You want to bet?" I challenged, moving closer to him.

"If you win, you get field privileges. If we win, which we will, we get extra field time and we get to take you lovely ladies out."

"You're on Hood."
