"So where are we going?" I asked, playing with the ends of my hair.

Calum smirked, keeping his eyes on the road and just shrugged. "You'll have to wait."

I groaned and placed my hand on my forehead. I hate surprises and I'm hungry as well which didn't add up very well.

"Ah so you're that kind of person."

"What?" I asked, looking out the window at the field we were passing by.

"You need to know every single thing, you don't like changes, like be on time. That kind of person?"

I couldn't think of anything to say because he had literally taken the words from my mouth.

His description was to the tee and it made me wonder how much time he really put into that statement.

"You think about a lot of things don't you Calum?" I said, finally getting the words out.

He nodded, "you would be surprised what I think about Riley."

We stayed silent for the next few minutes until I saw that Calum had turned left in stead of right which was to the highway and we were now going down a back road.

"Was one of those thoughts to kill me because this is an abandoned road." I said, suddenly becoming nervous of his intentions.

He chuckled and stopped the car in the middle of no where.

"Calum I'm serious. I'm not getting out."

He shook his head and got out, then walked to my door. He opened it and bent down so we were eye to eye.

"I wouldn't hurt you Riley." He held his hand out to me, still staring into my eyes.

"Trust me?"

I sucked in some air and grabbed his hand as he pulled me up.

-

We had been walking for what seemed like twenty minutes and I was about to complain when Calum's hand went to my eyes.

"Calum." I hissed, my hands reaching up to his.

"Take your hands away."

"It's a surprise, we're right here."

I mumbled about how much I truly hated him but kept walking to make him happy. I mean, to make me happy, not him.

Finally he stopped and whispered if I was ready and I nodded stubbornly.

He removed his hands and I expected to see a dumpy place where he takes all of his girl toys but was completely stunned by the scene in front of me.

To the left was a little creek that ran far down and a clearing that had a picnic basket, candles, and a blanket.

It was honestly the most amazing thing someone had ever done for me and for it to be done by Calum Hood shocked me even more.

"Did you do this yourself?" I gasped, following him down to the small area, him holding onto my hands.

"Most of it yes but the small details I may have had some help."

I was confused by what that meant but then heard giggling from behind a bush. Michael, Jordan, Marcie, and Liam popped up from behind the bush.

"So knew it." Marcie said, giggling to Jordan who was acting the same way.

I groaned and covered my hands over my face. I heard them say their goodbyes and I peeked to see Calum smiling.

"Having fun yet?" He asked with a smirk, clearly enjoying my pain.

"Yeah sure, now where's the food that was mention?" I asked, trying to dismiss the fact that I was blushing full force.

I expected him to come back with something witty and that smirk to grow even wider, but instead I earned a heart warming smile and a nod.

Maybe I've been judging Calum wrong this whole time.
