Immediately the girls started squealing with laughter and the boys continued throwing them. I stood to the side behind a tree so no one could see me.

I watched as Michael spun Jordan around and Luke help Katie up from the position she was in on the grass.

They all probably thought this was funny, I on the other hand, didn't find it as entertaining. We had a major game to get ready for in three weeks. I'm graduating high school soon and this could be my last game but no one cares.

No one except for me.

Someone tapped on my shoulder and it wasn't such a good decision in doing that due to the fact I was a ball of anger right now.

"What?" I said through clenched teeth, not bothering to turn around.

"You alright?" Of all the people to be standing behind me, it had to be Calum.

I whipped around holding my finger to his chest, "does it look like I'm okay Calum? We're trying to practice for a big game and your players, like always, have to ruin it. For once could you just keep them under control?"

"Couldn't you just lighten up for once Riley? Not everything is about soccer!" He said with equal amount of anger in his tone.

Something I said must have upset him. Maybe because I indirected him as being a bad coach.

"We know you guys are working hard and we wanted to let you guys have some fun for a bit. You need to have some fun."

I shook my head and ran my hands down my face. "You don't understand. This could be my last game. I'm not like you, I didn't get a scholarship. I won't be able to play soccer my whole college year. I just want everything to be-"

"perfect." He finished in a hushed tone.

"I do understand you Ri, more than you know."

He walked closer to me and took my hand, placing something in it, then walked a couple inches away from me.

"And I understand that you need to calm down and have some fun."

I held my hand up to see a large pink water ballon, then looked up at Calum to see a green one in his hand. He smiled and bounced the ballon up and down, seeming as a challenge.

I cracked a small smile and began chasing him with the others.

sorry for such a short update, I'm going to try harder to write longer ones for you guys !!!
