Luka/Chat's POV

'Shit-we're out of sync-'

Nobody's POV

Not far away was his stunning partner Ladybug-who was trying to dodge the bombs of the rogue akumatized carnival worker.

Luka remembered her. When Marinette and him had seen her getting yelled at when they first entered the park. Bad timing...

It was also bad timing to fight crime.

Ladybug and Chat were not in sync. Not in the least bit.

Ladybug joined the fight a few minutes after Marinette had been brought to safety and let's just say-

It was bad.

Neither of them had said a word to each other in a fear that the other would get made or they would make the situation worse.

It was as if they were both on solo missions, even though they were fighting the same battles.

"Lucky charm!" The spotted heroin called out.

A spotted fork dropped from the sky.

As Ladybug was contemplating her master plan the villain had other ideas.

As Ladybug formed her plan a smile came on her face as sprinted towards the villain.

The problem was— she fell.

Ladybug tripped on a damaged piece of debris and had managed to get her leg twisted through it.

She let out an agonizing cry, not realizing the villain was stalking right behind her.

"LADYBUG LOOK OUT!" Chat screamed as he ran to block the bomb heading right for her.

Right as Ladybug turned around.

FWOOM!

"Augh!"

Luka dropped to the floor taking the hit for her.

"KITTY!" she cried.

"I'm fine-er-just-just defeat the villain..." Chat trailed off before limping himself to safety.

Luka's POV

Was I fine? Not even close.

Getting hit by a bomb usually doesn't feel too good. I sighed. Feeling a tear trickle down my cheek.

My body was on fire and I felt little cuts ripple through my skin. I flinched looking back at the fight.

Ladybug didn't look too good.

What was with her these past couple days?

And tripping? She had never been one to be clumsy?

"MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!"

I jumped at the words. Already? Man how long had I been in my head.

(A/N: sorry guys LMAO- I know this fight sequence was really short but then again I don't know how to write fight scenes. ;) )

I felt my body breath and come alive again. The wights that were dragging me down in pain and a drowning abyss had left as if they never had been there before.

I smiled to myself feeling the light fuzzy feeling of the miraculous ladybugs leaving my body.

That feeling soon left as I saw Ladybug running towards me. She looked at me cautiously-like if she touched me she would hurt me.

"I-I gotta go."

She muttered under her breath before running away from me.

"HEY WAIT-" I yelled out.

I was desperate to talk to her again-I was desperate to get her love again. I reached out and clung onto her arm for support.

Ladybug stopped silently in her tracks and looked at me with tears filling her eyes.

"W-what?"

"C-Chat... I think we should break up."

"WHAT?!"
